A month later you meet at the Sharn Docks. Delgo has arranged an elemental galleon, The Roaring Thunder, to take you to Regalport. Boarding the ship is Ashana, Sylviel, Chronk and Dusty. Dresk has retired from the adventuring lifestyle and has settled down with his family. Norm was meant to meet you here but never arrived. But time and tide wait for no man (or halfling). Delgo brings someone you have never met before who he informs you will be travelling with you. It is Geralt Keriat, a sorcerer of some renown. Geralt is Ben's new character, replacing Dresk. You make your way to the ship where you settle in and meet the crew. Key crew members are: Demetrius d'Lyrandar - the temporary ships captain while the normal captain, Angelina, is elsewhere. He seems constantly drunk. Aubrey Galatea - 1st mate. Dry and cynical, she seems to be the person who actually runs this ship. Oliver Ramorell - Quartermaster of The Roaring Thunder. Discussion reveals that he grew up and orphan in Rhukaan Draal, his parents killed by troops led by Chronk's father. He enjoys talking with Chronk in goblin, but it is easy to see that Oliver holds residual fear of goblinkind. Brunhilde Kheldeburn - Gunner and Engineer. Friendly and approachable Benjamin Octavius - Ships Surgeon. He’s a student of medicine studying at Morgrave University in Sharn, and is currently on break. He chose to accompany this voyage because he wanted hands-on experience, and this seemed like a thrilling way to get it. The idea of hanging around in a House Jorasco hospital all day drives him mad Natsuko Hayashi - Natsuko is the ships cartographer and navigator. She is also the romantic partner of Demetrius. She seems quiet and reserved. She holds herself like a noble. You spend the next 2 weeks moving rapidly through the water towards Regalport. You see many ancient ruins on the shoreline, including one that appears filled with daelkyr. You are also approached by a goblin pirate ship but in your elemental craft you easily outrun them. As you turn to move north the temperature changes and the warm spring weather turns colder. One cold night when the ship has been anchored, the weather is awful with sleet and hail mixed in with driving rain. One of the lookouts suddenly starts clanging the alarm bell. 5 aquatic trolls have taken the opportunity of the bad weather to climb on the ship. A massive battle breaks out, with most of the group and crew being woken to join. There are some serious injuries, but nobody is killed. The trolls are mostly killed with one being driven away. You move along the coastline before settling back down for the night.
