Link contents from the journal (e.g. Handouts) to blog post

Hello everyone! I have searched around but maybe my searching skills are not very good, or my keywords are too generic...? We are currently playing a CoC campaign where I am the keeper. I would like to use all the goodies that Roll20 has to offer in terms of managing the content. Handouts, props, ideas, blog post. Everything to make my players (and myself!) to feel immersed in a living adventure.  I just wrote a blog post on our game to "summarize" the events until now, since we have added two new players. I hoped to be able to link from the post to the handouts item, something like: " ... and then the heroes met with [Mr. Suspicious Name] which gave them an [old book] ... " and my hope was to be able to be able to cross link to Mr Suspicious name and to the old book, where they will be able to add what they have discovered so far (and I, as a GM, would be able to read my notes about said items). Is there a way to achieve something like this? Apparently the items from the Journal are not accessible "from the outside"... Thanks for your help! :-)
It looks like you put the square brackets to the handouts you want to link to properly. I've noticed sometimes the links don't always work when typed manually but if copy and paste the title of the handout and put square brackets around that then it works. But, I have some games where the links don't work when viewing the handout from the External Journal. Yet, other games have no problem.
Hi Doug, many thanks for your reply. I tried to do it as you say, but it doesnt work. You mention a very interesting "corner" of roll20 that I don't know about, yet, that is the External Journal. I am only able to access to the journal while being "inside" the game, so, as a Keeper, I have to launch the game and work on the various handouts/props... then I would like to be able to cross-reference those. The "[ ... ] notation" works within the journal section itself, so I can link from a handout to another. But I would like to provide my players with a sort of a "wiki/forum" reference style of things....where we can reference and inject life in our shared world. This external journal sounds promising! How can I access it ? Maybe it is not available to a Free account?
