Beneath Brynassen - BFRPG Tuesday 2nd Feb, 7:30pm GMT (UTC) Hi all! Beneath Brynassen will be an old-school dungeon crawl type one-shot (possibly two-shot if it runs too long) using the Basic Fantasy RPG ruleset, which is a fairly rules-light retro-clone of early edition DnD. I've not DMed this system before, only 5E, so please come and help me learn. You absolutely don't need to know the ruleset to have a good time squishing some monsters in a dungeon, but do be prepared for your character to die a horrible and sudden death - the heroes in this kind of game are definitely not as powerful as in DnD 5E, 3.5E or Pathfinder. In case it makes a difference, your DM (me) is a female in her mid-30s. Sometimes female players are worried about joining all-male games, and sometimes younger players feel awkward when a group is older. That's the only reason I'm mentioning it.
