NPC character sheet swapped for another NPC character sheet

This has happened to me a couple times now. So I'll be moving or adding an NPC and when I go to open another NPC already on the table, the second NPC has the right name, but their whole character sheet / stat block has been replaced with the NPC I was just adding. When it's happened, there has been no way to see the correct sheet for the NPC that the was replaced. The only way I've been able to fix it is to delete all instances of the NPC from my journal and any maps and then re-add the NPC from the compendium. It's happened in the midst of games I'm trying to run, so I'm not entirely sure what's triggering it because I'm (trying) not to pay attention to the software and just run the game, but it is super frustrating.

If you have a sheet open and drag-n-drop a npc from the compendium on top of it, it will overwrite the previous character, if you press the "accept"(or something like that) button that appears on the sheet. if you have sheets popped out, this behaviour can also happen. https://wiki.roll20.net/Character_Sheets#Character_Sheet_in_a_separate_window Think there is a know bug in the case of popped out sheets somehow occupying invisibly the are where the sheet would be if it isn't popped out, but don't remember details.
Ah, thanks for the explanation and info. Yes, usually I have the character sheets popped out (as far as I recall), and it may be that I'm dragging new npcs from the compendium and they're hitting the invisible area(?).
