Hi, I'm a brand new player looking for a regular group to play with. I'm working from home and my social life has completely evaporated during the pandemic, so I'm looking for new ways to connect with people and have some social fun! I've always been interested in D&D since I was a kid and my older brother played with his friends, but I never got to play myself. I have worked on character sheets, learning the rules and general play flow, and watched some games recordings. I have always been an avid reader and enjoy fantasy stories, I am excited about playing a game where I get to be part of the story! A little about me: I work in web development, my hobbies include baking, hiking, dancing, and all kinds of arts and crafts. In addition to being beginner-friendly, I'd like the group I join/form to be LGBTQ+ friendly and generally liberal/progressive vibes. I'm open to all kinds of play styles as I'm still learning my preferences. I work a regular 9-5 (PST) and live in Portland, OR (USA). Thursday nights would be great for me, but I'm open to other times as well. Any tips/suggestions for improvements to this post or how to find a group are welcome, I'm still getting to know the Roll20 community. Thanks!
