Heya!
I'm a 23 year old Canadian lass looking for a new group of D&D
people to play with. My availability right now is either Sunday or
Monday nights, from around 9 or 10pm EST to as late as 2am EST. Campaign
wise, I'm looking for something long-term, RP-heavy, and fairly loose
with rules. I'm a big fan of Rule Of Cool over RAW playstyles, and I
don't enjoy any of the "gritty realism" type rules that some people
prefer. In fact, I really like being able to feel cool and powerful as
much as possible, and have adopted a few homebrew rules to support that
with my main group (eg a minimum requirement for the total of your
rolled stats, to ensure a certain power baseline; free feat at level 1;
etc etc). My main focus points in a campaign are the RP and social
aspects-- character development and relationships formed both with the
NPCs and PCs are my bread and butter for sure, alongside exploration,
intrigue, and of course, really good villain(s) to keep us on our toes.
Also, I'm perfectly fine with joining an in-progress campaign, it
doesn't have to be from scratch. Group
wise, I'm looking for people I can be friends with, first and foremost.
I'd like to form a long-lasting group of like-minded people to have not
just as fellow players, but good friends even outside D&D. I'm not
opposed to joining an existing group of friends, either-- in fact that
might even be the easier option lmao. If you want to know more about
what I'm like (personality window-shopping basically) you can check out
my twitter account which is @Gneerly. It hopefully goes without saying, but you need not message me if you're any kind of bigot whatsoever, "jokingly" or otherwise. I'd be happy to give more info to anyone who might be interested in getting to know each other and seeing if we're a good fit!
