Total Improv is exactly as the name suggests: all quests, characters, dungeons etc. will be improvised or randomly generated over the course of the session. Many things will be generated to specifications by the Dungeon Master’s Guide, and it will be my job, as the DM, to justify them on the spot. Likewise, you’ll be randomly generating your character at the beginning of the session! This will be a very silly game. The silliest possible, even. Min/maxers and rules lawyers beware: this game will be 90% roleplaying and 10% succeeding through sheer wit. Basically, it’ll be a good time. How long is the session? It’ll be about 2.5 - 3 hours. Character creation will talk 30-45 minutes, and then gameplay will be about 2-2.5 hours. There will also be a 10 minute intermission. How should I prepare?
