I finally developed a campaign for Fate Core and ran 10 sessions of it so far, just over halfway through it, and after I finish running it for a small group of friends I will throw it open to other players. The setting is Baroque Space Opera , which has similarities to Dune or Lexx. http://www.baroquerpg.com/ (free galaxy map and character-sheet) The Tyrant has ruled for 149,000 years, and has set up lineages of humans, genetically enhanced like himself, who are treated like gods and who have formed the 13 Houses of the Pharistos, whose syndicates manage all the forms of human enterprise. They have created a corps of Elevated Humans as their underlings who interface with ordinary humans (which the Pharistos do not deign to contact directly). There is FTL travel (Voidships which take days and Loomships which are instantaneous), a decayed Internet called the Pattern, resurrection technology, genetic manipulation, nano-machines (The Dust), psionics (Prana), aliens, and a sector of the galaxy that is out of the Tyrant's control. The Tyrant rules with an iron fist, but has made many enemies and there is talk here and there about rebellion. In my particular adventure, "Succession With Style", the PCs are to act as part of an agency who seek to influence the selection of the heir to the planetary Lugal or ruler of the planet Delyahey, Lineage Planet of House Ka-Chin (specializing in resource extraction). Officially, the Tyrant bans direct conflict between and inside the Houses, but there is room for intrigue and even dirty-work by deniable assets such as yourselves. I offer: Fate Core character sheets editable for the odd Stress Box patterns of BSO (genetically enhanced beings can have patterns like 2-3-4 or 3-3-3) Character Tokens and Ship Tokens are clickable to give instant roll-buttons for the 22 character Skills and 8 ship Skills of the game. You don't necessarily have to dive into your sheet. a planetary setting with some worked-out handouts of the notables and players, which you must deal with. Information is progressively revealed (from the secret GM notes on each sheet!) I am in the GMT-5 time-zone [Edit: now GMT-4 because of Daylight Savings Time.] Who I would like: Readers! BSO has a breath-taking amount of content and the book (sized in digest format similar to Fate Core) is 445 pages, available in .pdf and hardcopy from DriveThruRPG: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/156171/Baroque-Space-Opera But there is no need for technical knowledge; the various guilds of "technosophy" are treated like varieties of magic, and in fact the common humans are taught it all comes about from the beneficence of the Tyrant. In any case, I have made many Roll20 Handouts summarizing the Skill and special Rules texts for this variant of Fate Core. There will be some higher-than-average crunch, for a Fate Core game, anyway. Lovers of science fiction, particularly high-tech but jaded, hidebound and corrupt societies such as Dune , Lexx , Warhammer 40K , or The Metabarons . I hope to offer this game in about 6-8 weeks, barring any problems or crunch at work. Will you join the Rebels? Or will you defend the Order of Things?
Oh, exciting!

Woah, sounds interesting. From my experience with Dune and 40K I'm not sure if I'll love it to obsession ot despise it with all my liver... Whatever it is, it's bound to be intense.
Not a 40K fan, but love Dune and Lexx, so I'm game!
This does sound interesting.

This game is being tested out with 3 friends, it's pretty loose and takes some unexpected turns. I use the Roll20 tabletop templates developed by Nathan Hare, but also I change to special maps for space or The Pattern. Here are some screenshots I can show which have no spoilers (click to enlarge): The basic table template: My system of Token activated dice-roll buttons (22 character Skills, 8 starship Skills:) The House Ka-Chin Babylonian look: Space travel around the Delyahey system: The Pattern: ancient ruined cyberspace Palace scene: Transmuters, the magicians of the setting, who use The Dust (nanomachines): A Pharisto "Barge of Heaven":
Looks very cool.
