Time : Thursdays at 8 PM EST for 3-4 hours. Player: 3/3 (CLOSED) Campaign is mostly about court intrigue and time management + combats . We will use Roll20 for maps during combat, although it will be more heavy role-play campaign. I expect this campaign to run 20-25 sessions, and we can decide whether we want to continue after that point. Everyone will start at level 5, will level up to 10 after appx. 20 sessions Because this might not be an usual DnD 5e campaign for most, I will do one-to one preliminarily sessions for interested players to briefly explain the campaign and the custom rule. After that, you can decide whether you want to invest time in this campaign or not. Plot : Players will be council members of the king in the capital city of a large kingdom. In this kingdom, king chooses a new heir each year at the end of the winter. Upon King's death, declared heir is crowned as the next king. Thus, each eligible son tries to improve their position to get selected as the next heir. As influential figures in capital, players can choose to help or maybe hinder one of the five princes of the kingdom. Or they might try not to get involved in palace politics, although staying neutral might be option all the time in this game. Heir selection will be the main plot of the game + side plots that I plan to create based on the choices of players. Players will start just after the selection of the new heir, and have one year to decide what they want to do. For this campaign, I plan to to use video + audio to communicate in Discord . You don't need to use video, but I'd prefer it if you can. I also would like to record the sessions for personal storage if everyone is alright with it. I will never share any recording without permission of everyone involved. I am mainly trying to improve my DMing. Let me know via PM if you're interested.
