My friends and I have never played a table top RPG before, but we are all big fans of fantasy, video games, anime and geek shit. Instead of us just embarrassing ourselves trying to DM, we would rather have our first game be as players. If its a one shot or a short campaign it doesn't really matter, we really just want to dip our toes into the game. I'll add some information about us below to give you more of an idea of who your dealing with. Ages: All about 23 years old Gender: We are all males D&D Experience: almost none, some have watched some games and videos on how to play just to help understand a little of what the game is Roll 20 Experience: absolutely zero for all of us Interests: I think we're all looking for a classic 5E adventure, module or homebrew. At least until we get the basics down Additional info: We are totally ok with R rated content, nothing is too offensive for this group. most of us are willing to role play but may take time to get the hang of it. drinking and smoking is ok. We want webcams and voice. Most of all we'd like to meet a cool DM friend to give us a fun intro to D&D. Payment: Obviously we know most experienced DM's charge for their services, which is fair, its a lot of work especially helping several new players get into the game and learn roll 20. So were willing to pay as long as the price is right. Schedule: Saturdays at around 6pm EST seems to be the time we're all free. Send me a message if anyone is interested, thanks.
Hello I saw this Form post and am interested in the DM spot. please feel Free to Contact me for more information or questions
Hi Logan! I've been a DM for about 10 years and I absolutely love playing with new players. In fact, I was just recently a DM for a friend's birthday one-shot and one of those players was new. She ended up demanding being carried around by another player character, who was very drunk and very willing to be her ride! I write my own stories, but I combine my own vision with the backstories of characters or just what the players want to see and experience, so anything you want to do, I'll find a way for you to do. I like helping new players get a feel for the game, so I would love to be your DM. Please let me know if there's anything else you have questions about!

Hi!~ I can help run a game for you guys if you are still looking. Depending on how much you guys want to learn, or how fast you do, I can do a one shot to a short campaign.
Logan, I am an experienced DM with availability on [alternate] Saturdays. You can check out my profile here to see what adventures I have ready: https://startplaying.games/game-master/troglobitedm For a short and effective introduction to D&D, I'd recommend "Pirates of the Sword Coast: Shipwrecked at Level 0" [ https://startplaying.games/group-game/1611692194208x534263064442699800 ]. It's based off a classic D&D module and reskinned for the current edition of the game. It's a little different from most games in that players start at level 0 and experience the game not as heroes, but as helpless shipwrecked nobodies. This is a pretty great way to learn the game by playing rather than have to study up because your character sheet is built as you play. The choices you make will lead to the assignment of stats, skills, and eventually, your class as well. This one takes 2-3 sessions of 4-5 hrs/ea to complete. If you'd like something more akin to a typical D&D game, I'd suggest the "Wild Sheep Chase" [ https://startplaying.games/group-game/1611253955070x245592674216181760 ]. That one's a lot of fun and can easily be finished in two nights. We can start you at level 4, or simple scale it down to level 1. Both ways have been playtested.

Hi, I'm an experienced and friendly DM who can do this for you. My adventures are fun, flexible, and beginner friendly. I would suggest starting with the Sunless Citadel, which is a classic adventure investigating the ruins of the fortress of an old dragon cult. I'd suggest that we set up a meeting with all of us and talk to determine if this is a good match. If we move forward, I would ask for a fee (around $30 per hour of game time for the group of four). However, we can have a first meeting and trial game for no fee to let you get a feel for it and see how you like it!
I fear what you've opened yourself open for with `We are totally ok with R rated content, nothing is too offensive for this group.` XD
hi! I can not figure out how to send a private message in here which makes me nuts .. BUT ... I have a group specifically designed for BRAND NEW players ... as in starting from ZERO ... with a great DM and it's all focused on teaching the game through playing it .. no homebrews, completely geared so that the players get exactly what they want etc. IF interested, just .. umm .. send me a message ... lol thanks! Have tons of fun, it's a great game!!
I'd be down to guide you through creating characters and run you through a level 1 Pathfinder module. Maybe a campaign if we vibe. I used to DM a lot and even pay to play games, but it's been a while so I'd love some practice teaching again. My go to would be Hollow's Last Hope, a short adventure through an infamous forest to collect ingredients needed to help the local alchemist cure a plague. I'm available pretty much every evening, have a decent mic and camera, multiple monitors, a bunch of books on the game. I'm 25 and also fine with the drinking and smoking. I know Pathfinder is lesser known than 5e but it's a great system that allows for much greater options and choices when it comes to how you want to build your character. My Discord is ItsAlexNow#1029 if you want to chat and see if we vibe!
I have a campaign call Army of the Dead, that is based in Innstrad (world of Magic), is a horror like campaign that is aim for new players. It can be run with xp or milestone system. Would love to guide you through the process of character creation, and see how you guys develop in this world of D&D. Also Roll20 is pretty simple so I can share all the knowledge I have and also learn new thing together. Help me grow as a DM and I'll help you begin in this new and exciting world of D&D. About payment, I could run the campaign free, that is fine by me. But if you player wanted to tip me, it would be well recieved. Cause I also understand there is not always the money or something can come up. This adventure is about 50-50 on roleplaying and fighting, so should be perfect for you guys ;) Hopefully you choose to play this campaign, you guys will enjoy it ;) My discord is JFrosk #7904 or PM me thourg here ;)
