Hello all! My name is Justice and I am a professional dungeon master for D&D 5e, specializing in my personal homebrew setting, known as Terra. I have been DMing extensively for the last decade, and have refined my skill through my experience. I love game design and world building, and love nothing more than seeing a group of players enjoying the world that I have created for them. You can expect both custom world and battle maps! I strike a balance of about 50% Roleplaying, 35% Combat, and 15% Exploration, depending on where in the setting the campaign is taking place. To that end, here is my description of the setting: The Stormwall has been pierced by the Pirate Admiral Novenston. A new world lays beyond, new civilizations and creatures promising immense opportunities and wealth to those daring enough to step foot in these new lands. But while some look to the New World, the Old World is entering a period of immense unrest and instability as new technology, magic, and ideas spread rapidly. The world is beginning to change. Welcome to Terra The continent of Estaria, comprised of the vast lands West of the Silver Wall, is being invaded by monsters from the Grey Wastes. The mountainous island of Marthuria has become a fortified bastion ruled by the General of Stone, battles raging daily to hold back the tide from ravaging the greater continent. Every nation in Estaria sends troops and gold every year to contribute to the defense, but there is no end in sight and the conflict continues to escalate year after year. Meanwhile, the empires of Lamera and Etitor have begun conquering their neighbors, breaking the implicit non-aggression pact between the countries of Estaria and threatening the defense effort. In the far East, Urlon, in contrast, has enjoyed three long centuries of stable peace after the Elf Wizard Xia Fan took control of the Chrysanthemum Throne and enacted a policy of aggressive peace. With her recent passing that peace has shattered, and the long suppressed conflicts of Urlon are flaring back to life like the mythical Phoenixes as the three subject states of the Chrysanthemum Throne prepare to seize the throne for themselves. Off the coast, the Misty Isles have broken their long silence after a long, bloody civil conflict. Their unifier, Lord Tomoko Yuzuki, has his eyes set Eastward, and rumor has it that he has found distant lands with great wealth for the taking. Between Estaria and Urlon, the Druseleum Empire has set out on the war path, seeking to conquer all of the Senthum Continent for themselves. Arcanis has already fallen beneath their might, but the Artificianado (Estaria's Artificer's Guild) has intervened to halt their advance towards the Kingdom of Suteron. To do this, the Artificianado has unveiled a huge army of new Golems, their sheer strength causing outrage among the countries of Estaria that a guild would amass such an army. In the Northern reaches of the Senthum continent the Great Expanse has been ignored for decades now, written off as a land of endless monsters, but some have sought to tame the wild land with the help of its "monster" inhabitants. In the South the Naghavar Dynasty and the Kingdom of Sanatra are locked into a bloody war over the Great City of Alhex, both desperate for control of the city of wonders and all its wealth and secrets. Meanwhile, the continent of Vohan, much of it transformed into a vast necrotic wasteland centuries ago, continues to battle endlessly against the wandering armies of the Undead Masters of the Dread Wastes. The Giants of the Cidoran Peninsula continue to feud with no end in sight, and the Empire of Rhodian has solidified its dominance over its two vassal neighbors. Every living soul in Vohan prays that the Undead Masters never focus their attention to their North, for their endless hordes of Zombies, skeletons, wraiths, and mummies would be nigh unstoppable. Fortunately, they continue their endless war over the Necropolis, battling endlessly for a reason known only to the Undead Masters. The New World itself, long sheltered from the Old World by the Stormwall, is a land of monsters and ruins, with only a handful of civilizations persisting. Several powerful Dragons lead their own ancient nations, each pursuing their own mysterious agendas, while the other intelligent races strive to survive in their looming shadows. Legends speak of a forest of Powerful Magic deep inland, where the plants and animals grow to gargantuan sizes and the god of nature, A'larn, can be found wandering. Other legends allude to lost legacies, ancient artifacts, and unsullied fonts of pure magic, but the truth of such tales can only be determined by braving the danger and adventuring forth into the unknown. What will you discover?
