What is Valiant Fall? Valiant Fall is a campaign set in a setting I've made that combines many different elements into one in a technologically divided world with a mysterious energy; it mixes scifi, cyberpunk, post-modern, post-apocalyptic, and fantasy elements. It takes place in a world named Medivus, a planet completely detached from the rest of the universe, as anything that attempts to leave or enter seems to mysteriously disappear or explode. No humans exist within this planet, though strangely, the beings in the planet vaguely mimic human cultures; you have bipedal, sapient animal people, twisted mutants, horrific monsters, and zealous robotic beings. The game will cover mature topics and difficult moral questions, all the while the players must survive the harsh lands and people; more so realistic and gritty than cartoony and silly. What players are needed? We need open-minded people who are willing to get fully immersed in the game with detailed characters who have flaws and feelings. The campaign will ideally be long-term, so we also need players who are willing to commit to the game till the end. The game will be purely text based (real-time improv instead of play-by-post) with OOC and IC, so we need players who are willing and able to type out character interaction. What system? We will be using Savage Worlds Deluxe Edition with custom homebrew content and rule revisions. New to the system or only used to certain systems? Don't panic! It's easy to get into, and I will provide rules and walk you through character creation. The thing I like most about the system encourages players to make characters with flaws and roleplay them out. When are we playing? Right now, no schedule has been determined; I will base it on what works with the players we get. However, I am EST based, and need players who are flexible enough to join in afternoon to late night (no earlier than ~3pm EST).
