Vesrot will be able to join this now...I think! (will post details later tomorrow) Unless someone else wants to join before then. I don't wanna be all needy and clingy with last minute spots.
We need a cleric! Welcome aboard. Does Vesrot have a mount for this mission?

Ayla D. said: We need a cleric! Welcome aboard. Does Vesrot have a mount for this mission? Elephant or giant lizard! Vesrot Divine Soul Sorcerer Level 3 (4 if I finish a summary) PP is at 9 and untrained. But always brings a fresh barrel of water. Role mostly heals / Minor DPS

Aoibhinn's notes from the frontier I was right. The guy that was going here as well was not far behind us following our tracks. We greeted new companion named Vesrot  and tended to our wounds for while preparing ourselves for the fight with Fuko. We went downstairs from where few days old human tracks were leading in our direction. It seemed empty and quiet. Too quiet... Aaaaand I jinxed it. We went aroud the corner and followed the wall just to hear Vesrot  being attacked and pulled into the iron maiden that was standing in the corner of the corridor. Literally the only thing we didn't poke in here.... Eh... Hell broke loose and we've engaged in combat. I rushed in and extended my hand to pull Vesrot  out of this thing but it ws too late. Our new friend got knocked out and this thing decided to spit him out and focus me instead. I can only remember the piercing pain and lights went out for me as well. it didn't take long when I felt the life essence flowing through my body again healed by Bronson 's hand. I knew he's someone you want to have beside you!  We've eventually took the thing down as the scream got out of it and a ghost living in it left. Bronson painted a rainbow on it as his signature to mark that this thing belongs to him now. I don't know what he's going to do with it but I won't be fighting over such a thing. He just finished his painting when we heared a voice followed by heavy steps. It's Fuko! When he stormed in we got immidietly hit by the devastating force of wind. We were cut and Sabrina spat out some blood. Nadia responded with quick 2 shots with her bow but arrows passed right through the spirit. Taht's not what I was signing up for! They told me it's hard to hit him, not that it's impossible! That was a moment of realisation. We stood up not leaving anyone behind and sprinted towards the staircase. In the confusion after being struck with such force of wind  Vesrot  seemed lost and initially ran in the opposite direction but thankfully Bronson  went back in to help him right after escorting Sabrina to safety. I wanted to cover their retreat but the wirlwindformed around Fuko cut me severly and I was losing a lot of blood through those cuts. I shouted sorry and proceeded to run away. I couldn't die the same death my brother did. You need to know when to fall back. Thankfully Bronson get through Fuko while covering Vesrot  over his shoulder. i stood in place watching him passing through trying to make up for my cowardness from a second before. Unfortunetly for Fuko i wasn't any obstacle at all unlike for Sabrina. He flew over my head and landed dividing me from the rest of the group and blowing me down the stairs with a great force. All bloodied i stood up spitting blood all over the flooring and spotted a small gap to get through. Gathering last reserves of energy I've used my nimbleness to get through Fuko unharmed and following my goliath friend i ran out of the basement. Severly wounded, we bursted out of the building and made our way to Shibai. But it wasn't over for us. In the abandoned city there were 2 annoying looking guys (later I git told they are brothers that we should also eliminate later as they're criminal scum praying on innocent people) requiring payment from us to not get attacked by them and let us take a rest. We were in no condition to fight so without any negotiations Vesrot  handed over 100 gold pieces to them as we were clenching our teeth. Night passed peacefully which was a surprise because I was expecting those bastards to break the contract and attack us in our sleep. We've rewarded them for their kindliness by pissing into their bedrolls, sprinkling some salt on top of it and pouring some acid into their sake. Enjoy your drinks gentleman. Until next time... We went to Budo town and asked about standing stones in the vicinity. We were told the direction and so we followed. We found them eventually but in the end we had no idea how to activate them. They had some symbols on each pillar tho, maybe it has something to do with linking of the circles through out the wilderness? After that we've spent another few days exloring with no much effect. WE didn't discover much other than me finding track of Ettins, Hobgbolins, Orcs, Gnolls, Ogres, Humans, Owlbears, Giant Honey Badgers and Rats in the vicinity, last of which attacked us one night. The following night also wasn't peaceful as we got jumped by god damn, 5 head hydra. We took it down by caiting it and switching agro but got badly wounded once again so without not much energy left and no option of fast travel, we've decided to go back to Hope and come up better prepared for the dangers awaiting us in the Etteinheights.

After Action Report Party composition:  Aoibhinn, Nadia, Bronson, Sabrina, Blaze, Vesrot Mission: A) Destroy Fuko. Route Taken:  Robai Monastery Catacombs - Shibai - Budo Town Enemy Contacts:   Tsukomogami posessed Iron Maiden - Eliminated Fuko - Unable to defeat - Retreat Muso Brothers - truce negotiated for payment of gold Enemy Notes:   Fuko - No longer resistant to non-magical weapons, but is now completely immune to them.  Casualties:  None Mission Outcome:   A) Failure.   Recommendations:  Return to Hope and acquire weapons that can damage Fuko. If magical weapons cannot be acquired, perhaps silvered weapons may work. There are rumors of some standing stones in the Ettinheights that may be able to transport us back to Hope and cut down on some travel time. Recommend investigating these rumors in Budo Town.  Personel Reflection:   After spending so much time traveling up here, I can't believe we were unable to harm Fuko with our weapons. On a positive note, we have pretty much cleared Robai monastery of the Tsukomogami's and we have been told that they can take centuries to return. The next time we come for Fuko we'll be able to get to him much quicker.   Patrol Report Party composition:  Aoibhinn, Nadia, Bronson, Sabrina, Blaze, Vesrot Mission: A) Locate the Standing Stones B) Determine how to activate the Standing Stones Route Taken:  Budo Town - Standing Stones (Approx 30 miles NE of Budo Town) Enemy Contacts:   1 Wererat, 7 Rats, 4 Rat swarms 1 Hydra Enemy Notes:   The Wererat escaped but was severely injured. I suspect it died of its wounds soon after our encounter Casualties:  None Mission Outcome:   A) Success B)Failure   Recommendations:  Sabrina was unable to activate the Standing Stones, so we were forced to return to Hope via the mountain pass. Recommend gathering more adventures with arcane knowledge from Hope and attempting to activate the Stones from the Harrowmere side.  Personel Reflection:   Our inquires in Budo Town paid off and we were given accurate directions to the Standing Stones. We also learnt of a second monastery approximately 50 miles NE of Budo Town. If I can locate this monastery, maybe I will be able to acquire the training I have been searching for. Sabrina tried her best with the Standing Stones but was unable to unlock them. She explained that her magic comes  from within her rather than through study of the arcane arts, so maybe someone else in Hope would have beter luck with the Stones.

Sabrina's notes and inner monologue - The Final Fuko We rested briefly before going into Fukos lair. During that time Vesrot showed up. He was clearly excited and optimistic about this whole adventure. He clearly hasn’t learned anything from the Mouth of Doom fiasco. At least he had something to add to the party when we discussed tactics. If all else fails, we can sacrifice Blaze. Descending into the catacombs Nadia noted how there was only footprints leading out, not in and blah blah… I’m so good at scouting..blah blah… do you know who my father is? ERGH Searching around we all spotted a filthy Iron Maiden in a corner. Bronson got all excited over it. I guess he was shopping for a new bed or something. Sadly, it turned into a Tsukomogami. Worse of all it got the jump on us and Vesrot went down in a blink of an eye. I firebolted the damned thing; superheating the metal making the situation worse – I blame Blaze for everything . This amused Fuko greatly as he appears and gloated as we dispatched the sentient piece of iron. We realised very quickly that Fuko outmatched us and needed to make an escape. Aoibhinn was in trouble for most of the fight but miraculously survived. Vesrot ran the wrong way – idiot . Fuko seemed to like punishing me – what a dick . I woke up to Bronson carrying me out of the fight.   We got out alive but in shambles and made it to abandoned Shibai town where we encountered the infamous Mubo brothers. They charged us a ridiculous bribe them to let us stay the night. At least that next morning, we took some petty revenge. Between us, their beds were pissed on, caltrops left everywhere. And I had the pleasure of spiking their rice wine with acid. Leaving Shibai behind and headed back to Budo to ask about any standing stones. I really don’t want to go back to Hope the long way around again. Camping that night, we were attacked by wererats and swarms of rats. Once again, I was the focused of the enemy’s attention. Why is this happening to me! I swear this is discrimination. The next day we found the stone circles and nothing. I couldn’t remember anything about this type of magic. My mind just blanked out . SHIT. No one else knows anything about the Arcane in this party. FUCK. The last memorable thing that happened until our arrival back in Hope was a close encounter with a Hydra. I swear it was the Froghemoth all over again. Thankfully after Aoibhinn decapitated one of its heads and it was only a matter of time before it succumbed to our attacks and perished. I was ready to bolt out of that situation but I guess we got lucky. About time something good came of this bogus journey.
