Tomb of Annihilation

This space is shared between 3 concurrent games, run in parallel, starting at the same spot. So, it might be confusing. You're either in the Monday, Wednesday or the Thursday game. If you're in both, same character, then things will happen, originating from the alternate reality.

We play mostly Mon, Wed, Thu at noon EST, for 3 to 6 hours.
........
most Mondays at noon EST:
jan 19, 26
feb 2, 9, 16, 23
mar 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
apr 6, 13, 20, 27
.......
most Thursdays at noon EST:
jan 22, 29
feb 5, 12, 19, 26
mar 5, 12, 19, 26
apr 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

This starts at level 1. Up to 20. In roll20, if you use the 2024 character sheet, i cannot help. So i think the best is 2014 but you can add, in notes, the 2024 features, because we use mostly 2024 rules (and house rules).
This game also needs a motivated co-Dungeon Master. There are a few player slots available as well. Please apply only if you're thinking long-term, dreaming to raise a character over a 2 year commitment. My Discord is roger_b
The setting is an unchartered continent, Borneo-island style or the Amazon forest. The vibes are movies like King Kong, Indiana Jones, Aguirre the Wrath of God, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Stargate, Jurassic Park. A jungle full of mysteries, a legendary past starting at the birth of Time, death and disintegration à gogo. Many countries, including the Greyhawk Federation, your employer, want to colonize, install settlers, trade with the natives, plunder mineral, botanical, faunal and archaeological resources.
Last thing. Some players say i conduct a "die hard" dungeon mastering style, where a single mistake can cost you your life, if you ignore more or less subtle warning signs. This is not for the faint of the heart. It is hyper-realistic style, i think is the correct name. It's not a walk in the park, it is more like Hellboy style. But there are also smooth riding sessions.
10% Combat, 30% roleplay, 60% exploration. Mostly exploration, around 40 dungeon crawls. More social before level 5. More exploration, widening scope and risk, up to L10. Rise of power and strategy, up to L15. Whimsical after L15. World changing after L20. Out of this world and time after L25 (and 112 sessions, thoroughly play-tested).

This is my fourth re-run. The journal, here below, is in French. So, it is filled with spoilers. We have finished the French campaign in 112 sessions.
