Hello There!

I'm Aster. I've actively been playing all sorts of TTRPGs for over 5 years now and have been a DM for a few long-running D&D 5e campaigns, as well as a few FATE Accelerated one-shots.

As a DM, I'm a big fan of rules, but never at the detriment of fun. I'll always place everyone's enjoyment at the table first when making decisions.

I've ran a few modules and always strive to include aspects from the player characters' backstories into the module's plot.

Paid DM

I'm also a paid DM, currently running Dragon of Icespire Peak and running Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden soon. In the interest of advertising myself, here are a few reviews from players:

"I’m playing in Aster’s homebrew campaign, and I haven’t been invested this much in a work of fiction for years. He ticks all the boxes of what makes an amazing DM: constantly keeps us on our toes with interesting plots, helpful and accommodating at all times, adapts to his players and figures out what kind of content they enjoy, great at narrating and sketching an amazing world, fleshed out npcs he roleplays very well (with the voices TM 😉 ) and there’s never been a session where my first thought wasn’t “when can we play again????""

"I think Aster's a great DM! He's not only a great storyteller, but he always takes the time to listen to what his players want and to take that into account."

"So i started playing dnd recently and Aster was my first Dm. I was familiar with most of the rules, but he was very patient with me learning the rest. He was also very forgiving when i forgot to rage before i attacked, or forgot to say reckless. All though he is patient, he still makes sure we have a solid foundation to play the game by being firm with following the rules. He does use the rule of cool where it makes sense. He let me make a con check to see if i could force myself to grow my dwarven beard back in front of the local bartender. Because he allowed it, I had my first nat 20 story from dnd. All in all i think he is a fantastic dm, and i hope we continue to
play many games together."
