Returning home from your most recent adventure, you find yourselves in the alpine hamlet of Feldspar. This small, sleepy village makes its living from the sale of lumber, animal skins, and most importantly, its small silver mine. Feldspar is not unlike a dozen or more other hamlets you've traveled through in the course of your adventures. The only thing it really has going for it is its inn, the Mountain Pine. Haddy Lowbon, the Mountain Pine's proprietor, is notorious for his strong ale and hot meals. The inn's rooms are also well regarded by travelers, with comfortable beds stuffed with fresh straw and thick quilts to ward off the mountain chill. As you trudge into town after another long journey, you welcome the prospect of at least one night of warmth and comfort in the welcoming inn. After dinner, Haddy shows you to your rooms - semi-private suites for two silvers apiece. A generous offer for such comfortable lodgings. Unfortunately, it proves to be a little too good to be true. In the dead of night, you're attacked, bound, and hooded. You're dragged out of your beds, and off to who knows where... Spawn of Shurpanakha is a 3rd edition D&D module from Fantasy Flight Games that I've updated for 5th edition D&D. This adventure is a dungeon crawl with a focus on combat. This is a game for 4-5 players at level 10. We'll complete this adventure in a single session lasting approximately 4 hours. We'll be using a 27 point buy for stats. Players have starting class equipment, as well as 500 gp for weapons, armor, sundries, spell components, and common magic items priced per the Discerning Merchant's Price Guide . Player inventories will be subject to DM approval. Players may use D&D official source material from Player's Handbook , Volo's Guide to Monsters , Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes , Xanathar's Guide to Everything , Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide , Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft , or any of the campaign or campaign companion books (e.g. Hoard of the Dragon Queen or Elemental Evil Player's Companion ). Feel free to import your own character! We'll be playing this game on Roll20, but we'll use Discord for audio. Players will receive the Discord server link when the start time approaches.
