The disappearances began several months ago... Hunters and trappers went missing from their backwoods cabins. Farmsteads were found empty or burnt to the ground, with no trace of their former occupants. Then you hear about the poor Rawlings family - a wife and two children missing, with a husband's gruesomely dismembered corpse lying amongst the wreckage of the home. For weeks, you follow the rumors of missing villagers and a trail of grisly murders through the sparsely populated frontier with the trail always cold by the time you reach your destination. That is, until you receive word of another gruesome murder that happened just a day prior in the nearby village of Shay's Hollow... The Children of Xavroth is an original adventured for 5th edition D&D. This adventure is a mystery with an even focus on NPC interaction, puzzles, traps, and combat. This is a game for 4-5 players at level 3. We'll complete this adventure in a single session lasting approximately 4 hours. We'll be using a 27 point buy for stats. Players have starting class equipment available to them. Player inventories will be subject to DM approval. Players may use any official D&D source material. That means no 3rd party source books and no Unearthed Arcana , but everything else is fair game. Feel free to import your own character! We'll be playing this game on Roll20, but we'll use Discord for audio. Players will receive the Discord server link when the start time approaches.
