[LFG]17 year old with no experience besides reading through rule books. Will be utterly grateful towards any group that takes me on.

Hola! I'm Jeremy, a 17-year-old art student from the Philippines(GMT +8). I have no experience playing any pen and paper RPGs, nor roll20, but I have been deeply interested in trying both. I would specifically love to try a DnD 5E campaign, but I am very much open to other systems. I am free on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings, and I can make time on Mondays and Fridays. It would be impertinent if I did not offer anything in return. I have experience in digital art and portraiture, and would happily apply my skills should you need illustrations of characters and such. I promise to be steadfast in my attendance, and earnest in all aspects. I have no intention to be petulant, though I will accept expulsion if I am at fault. Should you choose to take me on, you will have my eternal gratitude. Feel free to respond to this topic, or privately message me. Since 7th Grade, I and my group of friends have always wanted to try DnD and other similar RPGs. Unfortunately, we had no one to teach us. We attempted to run a campaign a few years ago, but our combined inexperience led to the campaign being a failure, which left us dejected and demotivated. Recently, I have developed the desire to try another campaign, but I recognize that my failures will be repeated if continue to lack prior experience. As such, I have taken it upon myself to find a group that is willing to take me on.
Do thursday evenings work? I have a long running campaign (+2 years).
Jeremy, I'm not sure how the time zones work out, but I have a group of patient people who play over text in the roll20 room (no voice). I'm GMT -7/8, so if you're +8, then I THINK when we play at 6:30PM Friday, that's 3:30PM Saturday for you. When I move to Daylight Savings, I think that becomes 4:30 for you (unless you also move to Daylight Savings?) If you might be interested, feel free to check the listing: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/266574/the-brass-dragon-circus-and-traveling-sideshow

I am grateful that you have provided the opportunity to participate. I will be sure to check the listings! Edit: Actually, wouldn't 6:30 PM PST be 9:30 AM on my end?

You might find the Australia and New Zealand Tavern Raiders Association campaign useful for finding games or players in our area. Our LFG page might not be findable at the moment, so here it is. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/9884/australia-and-new-zealand-tavern-raiders-association

Edit: Actually, wouldn't 6:30 PM PST be 9:30 AM on my end? Oh heck. I think you're right. Dunno why I thought 7 + 8 = 21. Must be more tired than I thought. You're fifteen hours ahead of me, so yeah. 9:30.
I have a pathfinder 2e game running at 10am on saturdays AEST I think that's GMT +10/11 so that'd be like 7am for you. We've got a mix of new and old players and we're only at level 3
