The year is 1920. A landlord, one Mr. Knott, has asked you to examine an old house in central Boston, known as the Corbitt House. The former tenants, the Macario family, were involved in a tragedy and the owner wishes to understand the mysterious happenings at the house and set matters straight. Mr. Knott has been unable to rent the house out since the tragedy and hopes that you can clear things up and restore its good name. He offers to reimburse you for your time and trouble... The Haunting is an adventure from Chaosium Inc. for 7th edition Call of Cthulhu. This adventure, like many CoC games, is a mystery with a focus on NPC interaction and very little combat. However, danger and madness lurk around every corner... This is a game for 4-5 players. We'll complete this adventure in a single session lasting approximately 3 hours. This game will cater to new players of Call of Cthulhu , so we'll be using the Quick Start rules, instead of the full rule-set from the Keeper Rulebook . Players can choose whether they want to create their own investigator or use one of several premade investigators I've made up. If you want to create an investigator, please follow the Quick Start investigator creation guide in the "Creating an Investigator" journal entry. You'll have access to the Roll20 charactermancer and my Call of Cthulhu compendium if you decide to create an investigator. We'll be playing this game on Roll20, but we'll use Discord for audio.
