Welcome to Karameikos, a largely independent Thyatian Barony or newly minted Kingdom, depending entirely on when you're visiting! You're a citizen of these here lands, venturing out into the world to seek adventure for the first time. Whether it was the rumors of the ruins of Castle Mistamere, and its supposed vast piles of wealth. Or it was returning to your birthplace to begin your rites of passage. Or you're just passing through, seeing what the human lands are like. You find yourself in the town of Threshold, inside The Juggling Ogre. So yeah, it's pretty simple. This is a weird "beginner box set" from the early 90's, that wanted to incorporate these fancy new "compact discs" that all the kids were talking about. So there are pre-made characters, with pre-thought-out backstories, and pre-made peanut butter sandwiches, and pre-baked cookies, and pre-mixed kool-aid, and.... Huh? Oh right, characters already exist, the CD actually gives them voices (which is weird), and we do things, pretend-y things. Sounded like fun, so now i wanna do it.
