Better search: exclude from search and sort results

Rather than pick every possible game, it would be nice to be able to exclude some search options (maybe implement boolean logic so that you could include "-x" or "NOTx" in the parameters) These are not new ideas - searching the forum you'll see a few requests for these - just bringing it up again in hopes it will take this time. The ability to connect players with games is one of the few competitive differentiators that Roll20 still has over other VTTs.  We should focus on our strengths.
PLEASE everybody vote this up. The forum search has been almost entirely useless because the results are in a seemingly random order. If I search the looking for group forum for 5e games, I don't have any use for topics that were posted 5 years ago and then closed after two months of no replies
these two features are excellent ideas, both making it easier for people to find games they can actually attend and saving people who want to try something outside of the majority D&D/Pathfinder games a lot of time.
Great idea! Much needed.

Thanks for all the support! If the DEVS are looking for past posts with similar requests: Improved Game Search Filters Better Search Options for Games Game Search Reductive Searching LFG Expanded Search Exclude Games From Search! LFG, Search for games by when created Game Exclusion Option In Search Exclude certain games/tags from search A simple addition: excluding systems from game searches "Exclude" Option for game search An option to rule out game systems in your looking for group search exclusive search functions. Add the ability to hide games in your LFG. I was actually surprised how many of these I found.  Perhaps this will add additional weight to our request?
This! All of this, especially a way to sort/search the "Optional: Choose a Module" list on the "Create a New Game" page... PLEASE!

I first asked for this years ago. Hell, I even offered to do the coding myself, for free. No response. Good luck.

Good list.  There are equally as many Suggestion threads asking for Forum search-result sorting options . For the same reason, Looking for Group. Making it easier to find a game to get into. I believe this aligns with a major goal of Roll20's. A little Dev Love would go a long way, in improvements for Join a Group (search engine), and LFG community forum. I'm so tired of asking for something I can do in url editing to be made a standard option, but here I am again to upvote.
Good luck, suggestion. Good luck. Maybe we can even get as fine a grain beyond just systems like particular GMs, particular players, specifically this one game's listing, etc. Let's get wild.
Yes. Please. A better filter
I agree. As it is now D&D 5e swamps the games section, if someone were to post a more obscure rules system it will never be seen by most people who might be open to playing it unless they are specifically looking for it or it is posted under Other Games.
I made a thread about it before, and I've upvoted this one. Please give this to us!
There are 31 upvotes on suggestion post, which as I understands merits review and consideration by the development team. Is there any news on that? This is a matter that has been needing attention for years. It's a really easy fix, and there's a whole plethora of threads on the matter. Surely the development team has something to say by this point?

Not sure where you got that from.&nbsp; It has enough upvotes to not get automatically closed. <a href="https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037258774-Forum-Voting#ForumVoting-Whathappensnext" rel="nofollow">https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037258774-Forum-Voting#ForumVoting-Whathappensnext</a> ?
I'm most intereted in the table size filter. More than half the games are 20+ players (up to 999) &lt; usually leading to ded Discords. It be nice to sort out the {&gt;[X] people} or {&lt;[X] people}. Buut this is a 4 months old post and only 34 votes ಥ_ಥ
such an important feature, it would definitely change the way so many people use the site.
