Map not loading in game I'm running

So it's my first time really GM'ing in Roll20, I bought a map pack from the marketplace and when trying to drag and drop one from the pack (size is 2,652 kb) it just...never loads onto the screen? The bar says it may take a few minutes, but I've waited hours on different days and the bar just does not progress. I'm using Chrome, I've followed two different guides including the one posted here on Roll20. Someone in my group suggested it could be a size issue, but it just doesn't seem like that could be it to me. Is that really what it is? Or am I doing something wrong? I know for sure I've got decent internet speeds lol

Hi Kobold Underlord,  For troubleshooting, what are the exact steps you are performing?  Example 1:  Download the image from the marketplace Upload in game via drag and drop onto the VTTs Map Layer (this is just one method for uploading). Example 2:  click on the Art Library tab Search for the map pack you purchased.  Click on the desired map pack Drag the desired image to the table's Map Layer. As a note: one of the selling points of Marketplace images is that they do not (usually) take up your file space because you do not need to upload them. Example 2 is how you use them without downloading from the Marketplace and then uploading them to the VTT (and thus your storage).
Hello Gauss! I was more following example 1 it seems, as I downloaded the pack directly to my PC, opened it and tried dragging and dropping it directly onto the map layer, which resulted in the bar coming up and everything grinding to a halt. I'll give method 2 a try instead. Thank you!
Holy hell that worked lol THANK YOU

Kobold Underlord said: Holy hell that worked lol THANK YOU To save storage space you can delete any images you may have uploaded from that (or other) map pack(s) from your personal Art Library if you are not going to use them.  Note: if you delete an image you are using in the VTT it will cause problems down the road, even if it looks like for the moment you didn't lose image in the VTT, that is just the cache, once that updates it'll be gone.  Example:  In the Art Library tab you delete an image you have uploaded to Roll20.  You have that image as a map image on a page (map) in the VTT.  You (temporarily) continue to see it so think all is well.  Your players don't see any image because they don't have your cache.  Eventually you don't see it either because your cache updated or cleared.  Moral of the example: only delete Art Library resources that you are not using, but absolutely delete them if you want to save storage space.
Is there a tool that will show me when I click on an image in my library where it is being used? I have lots of images that I don't know exactly which page/game they are being used on.
No, there isn't. I've gotten into the habit of deleting map images  from my library as soon as I'm sure that they aren't being used anywhere. That, and I try to rename them something useful. I use the Roll20 image library to only store images that I know are in use. Everything else I keep stored elsewhere. I thought so too - I thought it was either X-ray or Reporter , but I'm not finding the image functionality with a quick search through those posts or any other random Google searches. And  Faces  only deals with images from Rollable Tables...

I asked Keithcurtis, the script I was thinking of is Campaign Survey, it is available in the one-clicks.  My understanding of that script is that it will show which art resources are in use in a specific game.  To use this to find resources NOT in use you will have to search a game, and make notes of which resources are in-use.  As you identify them I would move them into a "game folder" in your Art Library, that way you know which images are for which game.  Then repeat that for the next game, and the next, etc.  When you have completed the inventory, you will now know which resources are likely to not be in use. They will be the images not in a game folder.  However, perhaps the API gurus may have a better method. It would be worth asking.
Thank you. Especially thank you Gauss for the idea of putting the art in game folders.
