[LFP] [18+] [Call of Cthulhu 7e] Long-Term Keeper running one-shots to find new players.

Hello everyone! I'm a long-term Call of Cthulhu keeper, and I've recently found myself with a problem. I don't have nearly enough friends who enjoy serious Call of Cthulhu games. In the coming months, I plan on re-running one of my home-brew campaigns, but before then I'm hoping to bolster my list of friends and players by running a handful of one-shots. I live in the eastern US, and most of the games I run will be on weekday evenings. I will emphasize early on, the games that I run tend to be on the darker side, with graphic horror content and often contain sensitive themes. Anything that I run will always include a detailed trigger warning that I will not deviate from. The form at the bottom of this post contains more information regarding this. That being said, I should note that my DM style varies a ton between games. Some games I'll be the silliest goober around, and then the next game I'm carefully cultivating dread within each player. These one-shots will probably sit somewhere in the middle as I'm getting to know new players. About me: I'm 27 years old, and while my name is Brendan, most of my online people call me Brendy. My pronouns are they/them. I've been DM'ing for about five years. The majority of my experience is running Call of Cthulhu, but I've also DM'd and played plenty of other systems, including Monster of the Week, DnD 5e, 13th Age, and Dungeon World. I do voices, music, pre-recorded audio, visual aids, and really whatever I can to make the exciting moments as thematic as possible. My taste in horror has been inspired heavily by the SCP Foundation, the Magnus Archives, The Fall of House Usher, Old-School Creepypasta, Evil Dead, Dead Space, and Outlast. No I have not seen the new Alien yet. Yes I am sad about it. I have no idea what else is relevant. GL:HF. What I'm looking for in players: Be 21+ Have a decent microphone Be moderately experienced with TTRPGs in general. No experience with Call of Cthulu is required, and I have lots of experience teaching players how to play the system. Be interested in serious, roleplay heavy games. Have good vibes and be a good person. J.K. Rowling supporters are not welcome. That's it! Mostly...: I don't think there's much left to say, so if you're interested, feel free to fill out this form! You can also message me directly if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. Especially if there's anything in particular you wanna know before you put in the effort on the form. I do try and respond to everyone who applies, so if you didn't get a message from me last time, it might've been that I couldn't find your Discord ID or ya didn't accept my friend request. https://forms.gle/gHJGeU4rbYkoiPCM9
Potentially have had some spots open. Anyone interested definitely still encouraged to apply!
Hello, I'm definitely interested in doing a one-shot and seeing if the table and I are a good match! I've been playing tabletops for around 18 years, mostly as a GM of narrative based systems, namely City of Mist. I love cosmic horror, dark themes, and diving into the toll it takes on the human psyche which from what i've read is a big focus on CoC! I do voices, and bring a fully realized person to the table, not just a character with stats. I'd love to try out if you have the space!
