Where can we give feedback for the Beta? The feature isn't working as described on iPad/Safari.
Hi, I have 4 things: 1) I'm experiencing an UI malformat when I roll off the Sync'ed Demiplane Character sheet for Marvel RPG as shown below. 2) I can't type in the Chat Area. It gives the error below the rolls. TypeError: cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'advanced') 3) And, how are we suppose to Roll Edges and Troubles. I hope you all are planning on how we do it on the Roll20 Character Sheet. 4)  When I use my Android mobile phone, after I added a new character from Demiplane, the UI for Roll20 Marvel Dice broke. Only text is being shown, even edge and trouble. And nothing of them is clickable. But interestingly, the UI for the Demiplane rolls seem normal - just wish I could roll Edges & Troubles from the Demiplane rolls. And if it helps, I am using Jumpgate.
According to the FAQ you can the demiplane character sheets to an existing game. However, the "Game Character Sheet(s)" section under Settings doesn't show up on my games. Either that's not ready yet, or there's something else needed to be done to enable it in the game?
Hello Michael. Make sure the right sheet is selected in the game settings: Then I found the checkbox here after launching the game:
Have noticed several of us in our game tonight were being force logged out of demiplane.

Could Demiplane add the character name to the roll, so it shows up inside the roll in Roll20? I know Roll20 has the "As" drop down, so I can just scan up the chat to see who the roll was made "As", then I can figure out which player that is, then ask the player which character sheet the roll came from, but all of those steps are annoying. I want to look at just that roll and see all the info I need.
Had a user tonight with the logging out when using the sheet in Roll20. The rest of us were just running it in a separate DP window…
Thanks for that. I'm wary of changing the character sheet in game settings as that has erased all the existing ones in a previous game. I'll have to play around in a test game to see if it works. On tokens connected to DP sheets (PF2)  I cannot populate the token bubbles with the drop downs in Token Settings. Just says “none.”  I have submitted a ticket…
Is there any way to disconnect my game from Demiplane? I purchased this stuff to work on Roll20 not a 3rd party platform. I don't want my compendium on another site.

Question: I have demiplane/roll20 linked for the Starfinder 2nd ed playtesting and we have noticed that the character sheets are slow in opening (like minutes to open). Is this a known limitation with Roll20 and Demiplane?
I own the cosmic birthday module on demiplane, unlocked the assets on roll20. When i make a new game and add the birthday addon I get the maps with tokens, but there's no link back to the compendium so I can't easily access an npc's abilities or attacks and roll them directly on the vtt. Am I missing something here or is this still very early access level?

Is this a known limitation with Roll20 and Demiplane? Howdy howdy! If you're still running into load issues, will you reach out to us through the Help Center so that we can take a closer look? We'd love to investigate this further!

Damn, it is impossible to make a PF2e character! Can't search for Backgrounds, can't add more than one filter to look through backgrounds, scrolling through backgrounds takes forever and I can't even find one from Player Core! Edit: This seems to be a come and go problem. This morning, the filters seem to be operating properly. Still can't sort the list of backgrounds.
Do notice that the title on the rolls (Skill Check/Attack) sometimes drop down to the next line. Also notice that the subskills you roll show up as 'Attack'.

We started a SF2 Cosmic Birthday game back in the Alpha. Due to various things we're just now getting ready to play a second session and went through to see where things stood with the macros I'd created to help the GM handle things. Quick background: Since there was no prior SF2 sheet, the only sheet options were Demiplane and "Blank Character". I set up some ScriptCards to make some of the mess that is the output from the Demiplane sheets more useable, and in the process created a bunch of user-defined sheet Attributes for things that weren't available in the Alpha (like weapon information). With the Beta a lot more is now available and I switched out things to use the provided sheet attributes, so everything is working fine with a Demiplane sheet. On the other hand, since there's no support for NPCs or NPC sheets in Demiplane, I had set up a "Blank Character" template, of sorts, that has a whole bunch of user-defined attributes to capture the relevant things you'd want to roll for an NPC (mainly enemies) and then tied them together with some ScriptCard macros. These worked great in our first session. Fast forward to today: It looks like any capability to reference attributes, whether predefined or user-defined, on the "Blank Character" no longer works. No matter how I try to reference it, it just completely fails to send any output and does not log any sort of message, even with debug turned on for ScriptCards. Without any other method to create NPCs for the game, this is looking like it will be a slog to try to play our game session tonight. Any thoughts on how things may have changed and what I'd need to do to properly access "Blank Character" sheet attributes? Thanks! EDIT: It's not just ScriptCards that can't access the attributes. A plain old call in the chat also fails to produce any output (like @{selected|character_name} returns nothing on a "Blank Character" but returns the actual character name for a Demiplane sheet).
When rolling from a Demiplane Daggerheart character sheet, the rolls are coming to Roll20 chat just fine, but due to the visual style, the total result is cut off from the side. I think someone needs to adjust the width of the roll boxes that come through to Roll20. How the rolls are on Demiplane: How they print out in Roll20 chat:
It is a little annoying as there is a lot of wasted horizontal space, but you can drag the roll20 chat window to the left to widen it and then you'll see the rolls. When I saw that Demiplane integration was live, I thought it might be a good time to see how things are with Roll20. After all, the DnD Beyond integration was actually pretty good from my recollection, so I was looking forward to something that might offer more convenience over the standard Roll20 sheet for PF2e. I fired up a Pathfinder 2 game to check it out.  Well, when it comes to Pathfinder 2e there are some very important features missing. Can't cast spells from the sheet or send any abilities to chat. Attacking with weapons only sends a labeled roll to chat without any of the weapon traits which in PF2 are extremely  important. You can't send any macros to chat from the sheet, you cant even send a skill action to chat which, short of a macro, is a nice reference for whatever the player is doing especially for complicated or less used actions. It seems that the only thing you CAN do with the sheet in a way that interacts with Roll20 is attack and damage rolls, and those aren't labeled with traits or even damage types! If I have access to content from Demiplane, and thus built my character using that content, but don't own that content on Roll20 that content is being blocked. Excuse me? Seriously? Roll20 is already desperately missing the automation features of so many competitors, and this sheet integration is a surprising step back. Look, Beta means feature complete. This integration is anything but.  It's an alpha at best; a proof of concept, at least as far as PF2 is concerned. When is Roll20 going to stop rolling out half-baked features and add-on's and modules and system's with a weak promise make them better in the future?
Howdy everyone!  Wanted to come in with a quick update as we quietly released Phase IV: A last week.  The issue where the width of the bar was too long (hiding those rolls) is now fixed. I noticed a few of you reported this (thank you!) so the developers were able to fix it.  Released last week: Phase IV: A now allows you to use the Demiplane Compendium in Roll20Characters. Phase IV: B, coming to you by end of the month, will allow that Demiplane Compendium to be pulled into the VTT. Additionally, we are launching Adversary Sheets, too, for Daggerheart + Cosmere (with more games on the way!)

Nothing but a blank page. Nice. On the Demiplane side, it's an android mechanic.
Are there any videos or tutorials on how to actually run a game using Demiplane? I can't seem to find anything helpful except for Daggerheart, a game I am not familiar with. Honestly, I can't even figure out how to do any prep for a game, let alone make a single roll as a GM.

Hi Dr DM,  Have you joined the Demiplane Discord server ? It is a very active server with a lot of help from the Demiplane staff.

And today the SF 2E works, except it's not displaying damage type on rolls.  Starfinder is based on damage types. SF launches in September, might want to get on it. An entire website dedicated to sheets and they can't figure it out. Incredible.

Hi Meredith, as I've seen you did - for all I know - an update on the character sheets of Demiplane I tried it out again for PF2e and it seem nothing has really changed. Because no issues that I've spoken of in the PF2e character sheet thread have been addressed I copy my thoughts from there and hope someone will answer accordingly. "Just a little input from me and my group. I hope everything's understandable, English isn't my native language ;) I made a copy of our current campaign and tinkered some characters on Demiplane together. Then I invited my group (3 very experienced player and computer users and one not so experienced) to playtest it. To make my personal standpoints clear: I'm a graphic-designer, web-designer and art-director for now 40 years in the ads and marketing.   First at all I find the complete process of synchronizing the contents from demiplane and roll20 tedious and confusing. Especially if you've never had anything to do with demiplane - I hate to imagine what someone who isn't very computer savvy would do.  Having myself done quite a lot of UX and UI work I must say that changing to another platform to build your character (or doing other things) is in my line of work a worst-case-scenario. All my players complained about it and having to get a further account is procedural bullshit. Sorry that I have to say it so bluntly but my customers would have kicked me in the butt if I produced something like this. I tried to do some drag and drop out of my Compendium what naturally doesn't work. Adding equipment with the "Add item" is counterintuitive and there isn't really a method to build your own equipment so you're reliant on the content of the compendiums (another minus-point). Regarding the compendiums:   This button is some kind of joke, isn't it? Again: why do I have to go to another site, when I paid everything on Roll20? Don't you have Marketing or UX-people in your team that would have warned you that this is against everything what customer experience marketing says? As you can imagine my players haven't been very convinced, too. What they mostly complained about was: The whole process of opening the sheet is quite slow, especially on older computers. That they couldn't use drag and drop anymore like they did for years That the fighting was annoying because you have to roll hitting, damage and crits individually. During fights this slows down the process immensely That the sheet and the Roll20 surface don't work together - you just realize that the Demiplane Sheet isn't really integrated into the Roll20 experience. There are functions in it like the dice down in the left that are superfluous because Roll20 provides them Some design things: why do the attacks have to pop up on the left if you've got everything in the chat? This popping up hinders the view on the character sheet. If you want to click on a weapon to attack the arrow and the field are quite small - especially if you're using a monitor with a higher resolution. The Token settings don't seem to work really with the sheet - maybe I'm to stupid but I couldn't make AC and hitpoints shown. There have been some more minor issues but overall they haven't been too impressed. For myself I've got to say that I feel quite disappointed. Over all I liked the design of the Demiplane-Sheets and hoped that there will be a good implementation into Roll20. For years we Pathfinder Players have been put off that there's some working on the new sheets and later that there will be an implementation with Demiplane. I've been patient but let's say it like it is: This solution is half-assed. When I see the lot of work Roll20 is doing with D&D I feel somewhat betrayed and kept behind. I can imagine that more people are thinking like me and quiet quitting or looking for another VTT. We're staying now with the old ugly sheet and hope you will get back to the drawing board with this Beta. Maybe ask someone who's proficient with UX-design and include it better in Roll 20. As I said before: a two-site-solution ist the worst you can do." Some additional points that came out: The beauty of the compendiums on Roll20 was that I simply could take a monster, weapon etc. and drag and drop it on the VTT or Character sheet. I don't want the compendiums on Demiplane where I can do nothing with them actively. When I want to read the "Archives of Nethys" are enough. Designwise the Demiplane compendiums aren't very workablefor Desktop-Users. Nice backgrounds don't make the UX better ... Over all the new sheet ist a large step backwards. Last but not least: The charactersheet at the moment ist no Beta - that should be functioning - but an Alpha that should be marketed accordingly. I don't care about demiplane, I want to play on one site. If Roll20 can't handle this I have to change the VTT. Thorsten
Hi I have a roll20 prosubscription, I have the VTT stormlight books add-on bought on demiplane. I linked my account (demiplane and roll20), I created a new game with the demiplane sheet for cosmere RPG, I add the stonewalker and stormlight world guide to the game. I can't use the compendium for roll20 in the game. It says that "you do not have access to any content for cosmere RPG". Since I have the VTT add-on books and linked my accounts, I should have access? When I asked on reddit, somebody told me to create a new game, which I tried without success Thank you
