Roll20 x Demiplane Public Beta is LIVE! Character Sheets galore

Hi Fred, Have you checked the Content Sharing section under your Game Page settings to make sure the books are selected?…

Hi, When I say yes to content sharing, only the stormwalker shows and I cannot add anything else
Over on Discord someone suggested there is a selector at the bottom of the Compendium tab. Can you check there?…
yes i know. It's just that I was used to drag stuff from roll20 onto the character sheet in D&D for example. Now it seems that's not possible

Sorry for any confusion! The compendium for Cosmere is all provided by Demiplane, and not Roll20. The Stormlight Handbook on Roll20 is an art/token product only, and grants all of the Demiplane functionality/full product on Demiplane.
Eve, one of the most important questions I have - will the new Demiplane Character Sheets will be implemented into the Roll20 experience? For me the drag-and-drop function ist most important. I want complete interaction of the sheets with Roll20. Is this planned or are you proposing a two side solution. If you do so it would be a breaking point for me.

Will it be necessary for Roll20 Team to proactively enable the integration on 1:1 basis for each game after launch, or should Roll20 users expect to be able to see Demiplane compnedium content in the Roll20 compendium tab for any game that demiplane provides, from now on as a regular ordinary Roll20-Demiplane integration feature on linked accounts?

As a GM (owning the Daggerhart content on Demiplane), do I need a separate 'Demiplane Membership' so that my players can create their characters? In addition to the R20 subscription?
If you have a Roll20 sub then you should be fine for them to make characters on DP. Just make sure you are Sharing Content with them on DP…
Checking again on the Official Starfinder 2nd Ed sheet and the NPC sheets with the conditions on them and for Pathfinder 2nd edition as well. Any time frame besides "soon" yet?   Thanks Tom

Just saw that there have been some updates in the Demiplane character sheets in the last blogpost from 2025/08/16. As nice as it is - when will you try to make the Demiplane sheets out of Alpha and workable on Roll20? I don't care about Demiplane anymore and just want working character sheets (in my case for PF2e). I don't see any bigger issues I've seen addressed by different people and systems in the past month being worked on. As other people said: one dice, one website. I'm getting more and more annoyed about your policies and the halfassed solution you provided with Demiplane.
Hey everyone!  Apologies on late reply. Yes, Starfinder on release at GenCon has the NPC Sheets to be usable in the Roll20xDemiplane Integration. Steps here (it’s Daggerheart coded but same process!) No, if you are a Pro or Plus subscriber, you get the Demiplane Unlimited which unlocks content sharing for up to 24 people across all NEXUS Platforms so you do not need a separate subscription.  Yes, Compendium and NPC Sheets will be one to one. The team is working alongside other roadmap priorities with the intent to have all systems in place for the integration. This takes time to do and is a lift for our teams. Compendiums and NPC Sheets are available right now for Cosmere + Daggerheart. If a character sheet is not working or there is a problem with your integration experience, please let our team know via Support Ticket . This is a much quicker way for the information to get to the team and help in making your experience the best we can make it.  The more information we get in that ticket, the better. It helps the team repo faster and get to the problems quicker to look into. We appreciate all your feedback and reports as you’re not only helping your table but all members of the community, too!

That's a very clumsy procedure. To play SF2 I have to import NPCs from Demiplane, one at a time? Did no-one think to put the end user first? So if I have a half dozen critters and four NPCs, I need to clutter my Roll20 screen to the point of breaking it? No one at my table says they're excited about Demiplane. It's a nuisance that's slow to load. We want a simple, one-site implementation. I'm being asked to choose between bad UX or leaving.

Hello Meredith, thanks for the information. This means we're as PF2-players are forced to use Demiplane because the future character sheet won't be handled natively if we want to play further with Roll20. Personally I don't see any ways how the systems work together in time - at the moment it's not at all. Complete BS in terms of UI an UX imo but it's Roll20's choice. When I end my current campaign I'll change to Foundry where PF2 is much better supported.
I said this for some time - I have the feeling noone in Roll20 has experience with UX-Design. I personally think they are much to endeared not doing stuff for systems outside of the cash cow D&D and just let the rest of the systems work with the sub par Demiplane connection. I don't give a flyin' F about Demiplane I want my games being natively handled on one platform. Roll20 in infamous for not really connecting to user complaints so I don't see any chance this will be answered accodingly. Plural said: That's a very clumsy procedure. Personally, I love the Demiplane book layouts, much better than a PDF and I wouldn't go back on that. I enjoy the character builder more than Herolab (but I am bought into Herolab because it was first and now keep both), but the integration is lacking and all the content I am waiting for on Demiplane just gets pushed to the back, nearly as bad as when Roll 20 itself was ignoring everything at this point. Archetypes from Secrets of Magic are missing in Demiplane, and have players that can't use that builder because of it. NPC sheets are a must, but it seems they have a tiny team working on doing everything and focus on the new shiny stuff (5E for Roll 20, Comsere and Daggerheart for Demiplane) and everything else just gets pushed to the back.  Personally, I intend to keep both character builders but the VTT... I am running out of patience again. Starfinder should have been ready to go day 1, and they didn't even have all the character options (and still don't), let alone a complete module for the lone adventure. Roll 20 only features the art pack at this time, meaning the primary point of purchasing it isn't even there. If I have to set it up anyways...
The worst thing that I have seen is that the Demiplane integration makes tokens unusable in play. Poor updating in PF2e is bad enough. In the Cosmere RPG, NPC characters added from Demiplane come with tokens with token bars with linked values that cannot be changed. One has to laboriously go through all the tokens that one want to use and unlink the token bars and then type in the values you want manually. Macros do not work, as they do not retrieve the correct values from the Demiplane characters. I expect to see more and more problems due to integration. I really want to support Roll20 and I would like to keep access to all the products that I have purchased (enough to cause lag issues!), but I really have a low degree of confidence that the platform will be operational beyond a year or two.
Roll20 is calling this a "beta," but beta programs are launched Before the product launch. SF2 is already launched. That means the integration should be flawless, right this second - but it lacks token functions and API functionality. So... hmm. Roll20, stop launching "features" before they're ready. We are not amused.
I keep getting a yellow banner when I launch the game that prompts me to log into Demiplane, even when I have set the Pathfinder 2e sheets by Roll20 as default. How do I remove this banner prompt?
Yep, the tokens for SF II and Pathfinder can be quite wonky.  Dragging from Demi sheet does not stat em up.  Once you open their character sheet from R20 to Demi you can then put stats in, what a pain!! So have to copy paste the same tokens every time and not pull em from the sheet, NOT fun for a GM or players. Next When will Roll20 have the Starfinder 2nd Edition tag added on, not super helpfull with just a Starfinder tag. When is the SF II sheet going to be done on Demi, soon is getting a bit old now!! And I might assume once done you CAN put a SF II tag up, or is it something else holding it back?? NEXT Where the heck is the PF II Mythic AP Myth-Speaker as that was to drop "soon" as well, and still nothing. Thanks Tom

This might be a silly question, but what is Demiplane?
