MAC user can't see tooltips.

I have one player that uses a MAC who cannot see the tooltips that I set up for tokens. All other players can see the tooltips when hovering over the same tokens. This player uses the DuckDuckGo browser; he will not use Chrome of Firefox . I've loaded the same browser on my Windows PC and have had no problems. Other than this tooltip issue, this player has had no other issues with this browser and says that Roll20 behaves better with it than Safari . Have anyh4 other MAC users experienced anything like this? DuckDuckGo uses the Blink (WebView) rendering engine for Windows and Webkit for macOS and iOS (same as Safari)

Hi Rick A., Roll20 only supports Chrome and Firefox. So the suggestion to the user is, use Chrome or Firefox (I know they won't use it...but that is the answer). With that said, they could try to submit a Help Center request to the Devs and see if there is something they are willing to do regarding DuckDuckGo or Safari. https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/requests/new Personally, due to the issues with certain Apple devices that use Webkit under Chrome and Firefox I believe that Safari (Webkit) should be added to the list of supported browsers. But that is a Roll20 decision. One other avenue they could try to pursue, make sure there are no popup blockers or other elements that might interfere.

Hi Rick! I installed the Duck Duck Go browser on my Mac (not MAC), and have confirmed that the tooltips do not display. It's unlikely the team will address this, since it is not one of the two supported browsers, but the answer likely likes in a DDG setting. You can still try reporting it in a Help Center Request .

All browsers on an iPhone or iPad are just a "reskinning" of Safari (Webkit).
OK, thanks guys. At least I have an answer for him - even if he doesn't like it. :D I don't use tooltips that often now that we have map pins.
