Why do rogues wear leather armor? Because it’s made of hide. 🥷

Do we really need jokes taking up screen space.  it's all over the place.

<shrug> It's not taking up space on the VTT, so it's not a big deal. A little levity doesn't hurt.
I'm tired of looking at it.
Levity would be fine, but I don't consider dad jokes (and not particularly good ones at that) to rise to the level of levity. It would be really nice if it had a "dismiss" box, and better yet an account setting for "don't show my your idea of humor". But, I don't see it as a big deal since it's not on the VTT.
A dismiss option would be a reasonable concession for those people that are bugged by this. Also, dad jokes are like puns; the worse they are, the better :D (Humor is subjective. I'm a fan of both Spider Robinson and Hugh Jackman; I know people that cringe at both) Ken S. said: Levity would be fine, but I don't consider dad jokes (and not particularly good ones at that) to rise to the level of levity. Humor is indeed subjective, but  The people who like it will like it to the same degree each day  the people who are indifferent will remain equally indifferent over time The people who are annoyed by it will be annoyed a little bit more each time they are forced to see it  So the overall effect is likely to be slightly more negative each day.
I hate it.
I am annoyed by it. Maybe what would be better is have something useful such as gaming tip?
I removed my vote from this suggestion and added it to this one .

When I first saw it, I thought it was going to be a random rpg joke each reload, and I'm irritated by it more and more now that I realise its the same joke every time.

They only take up like 3% of the screen. I don't really mind them.
Meh!  I'm okay with it... bad puns, dad jokes...there's better things to gripe about on Roll20.   If this is how someone wants to spend their 'vote'...more power to 'em! Now, get off my lawn....you meddlin' kids!!!
