more flexible directional barrier for dynamic lightning

Score + 1
while setting up light barriers we currently have a perfectly fine wall and a good transparent one to limit movement. the one directional one is a mixed bag for me it seems a perfect fit for a balcony over a ballroom: from above you see below but from below you see nothing. the reality is that this is used to manage different level in a map with a gradient but in that case it is not really good as in theory the character should be able to see what is higher behind. as an example you have a wizard tower behind a fortified wall you should be able to see the tower even if not what is in the courtyard or an house on top of the hill: you see the house even if from the bottom of the hill you do not see who is camped just outside I would love to have the directional barrier to be modified to select a blind distance behind it (on the blind side). so if I set say 30 feet I cannot see from outside the first 30 meet but then it is visible again. obviously setting to 0 (or 10000)  would revert to the current use  also clearly this is not a proper 3d visibility as in theory you should not be able to see level 0 of the tower in the previous example but I think it could be a very useful improvement Andrea
I'm out of votes, but I do like this idea. Currently, you can use the foreground layer to accomplish something like this by placing the image on the foreground layer and set it to be Above Darkness ,  Show Grid  (if appropriate), and keep  Conditional Fade  OFF. This way, the one-way barrier will block vision beyond it, but the image on the foreground layer will stay visible.
