Explorer Mode Darkness is Orange/Seipa

Ever since the latest major Dynamic Lighting overhaul, the Explorer Mode has appeared as this ugly orange/sepia color instead of the grayscale it used to be. Is there a way to change/fix this? When I turn Explorer Mode off, it goes back to grayscale. Additionally, if I have the Dark Fog or Pale Mist darkness filters on, the textures outside the map's boundaries are the normal black/gray while the textures inside the map boundaries are also tinted orange. I have confirmed that this tinting happens both when I preview a token's vision as GM and naturally when my players are logged into the game and viewing it through their characters' visions. It doesn't appear to be affected by Night Vision tinting either, nor does it mater if a character has Night Vision at all. Without fog/mist:   With fog/mist:
I kind of prefer the sepia tone, which probably means that whatever tone is used should be an option.

My theory as to why it was changed to the sepia, is that it is: A) Easier to discern from normal darkness (So you can tell "memory" from what you might otherwise think to be just dim light), and B) it is clearer rendering with more types of maps. Like Rick, I also prefer it. The gray version was often confusing.
