[LFG] Experienced but Rusty Looking for Beer and Pretzels Type Group

Edited 1788732548
Hello and thanks  in advance for reading!  It's a long shot, but I'm looking for a group with a specific feel.  I've been gaming off and on for longer than I want to admit ( cough orange spines cough ) and the current dry streak is getting way too long.  I'm not looking for a specific system, I'm open to nearly anything published.  I like lists, it helps me to make sure I'm not forgetting anything,  so here's some short lists :) Really want in a group: Casually Serious feel. Translated: A group of people with day jobs that are all hear to relax and have fun, so pre and post game there might be joking around but once the game actually starts we (mostly) focus on the game. Adults (30+ would be awesome, but no younger than 16+).  I'm all for the next generation of gamers, but I don't want to feel like I have to constantly filter/censor myself, and lets face it I just don't have that much in common with 13 year olds. Ongoing campaigns. In a dream world the group might run campaigns in multiple systems (a story arc in system A, switch to B, switch to C, back to A) but I want to be invested in my character, not have a one off. Really DON'T want in a  group: A group of players/GM that plays a dozen different games a week.  I respect the dedication and if online TTRPGing was a thing a couple decades ago that might have been me, but it's  not the vibe I want right now. Living World/Westmarch style game.  I've looked into them and I always feel like an outsider late to the party, again it's not the vibe I'm looking for. Completely homebrewed systems.  Again, respect for the effort in building your own system, but I want a published book I can reference. So that's the bare bones of what I do and don't want.  If you have something that you think might work please feel free to reach out.  You can get a feel for me as a player and my background by checking out my profile (I'll try and remember to go update it) but ask me anything you'd like to know.  I have experience in a lot of different systems, although am quite rusty in most, but I'm open to just about anything; I'm a quick learner. EDIT: Duh!  shows how rusty I am!  I'm located US Central time zone, looking for ideally a weekday evening, but could make a weekend game work if it was really right. Here's the important test to see if you actually read to the end.  If you want to contact me please send a private message.  I'm very unlikely to respond to replies to this thread, and I absolutely will not be sharing my Discord until I feel like it's worth it.  That being said, I hope to hear from someone soon!

I have a game that needs a bit of explanation. The game is open Thursdays and Fridays 8 PM EDT. Players can attend whichever sessions they like, as long as they make an occasional appearance they are still active. It is a city based game and all sessions are episodic, so there are no cliffhangers. Characters can be Bards, Fighters, Thieves, or Wizards. I emphasize roleplay and solving problems, we are neglige' on the rules. Each character can create a number of NPCs, based on their charisma. Each week they will receive rumors from each NPC. The group will meet briefly at Mike's Bar to discuss the rumors and decide on a mission to run that night. At any given time there are at least 6 possible missions available. Players can have more than one character, they will not operate together. Players can share information amongst themselves. Characters will have macros made for most of their actions, to keep things moving. Locations are highly detailed with lighting, weather and random events built in. I currently have about 35 scenes created.
