TL;DR System: D&D 5.5 / 2024 rules When: Every other Monday, 8:00–11:00 PM Central Time Seats: 1/4 player seats open; ongoing campaign What: Play ambitious villains and build power from almost nothing Table: Long-form Roll20 campaign, Discord community; mature/18+ listing This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $20/session via Patreon. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. The trouble with kings is that they expect you to ask permission. The trouble with gods is that they expect gratitude. We have no intention of offering either. Don't misunderstand: there is no fortress waiting for you, no obedient army, no conquered province from which to dispense orders. There are two dangerous scholars and a new foreign ally, a few leads worth pursuing, and the beginning of an arrangement that could amount to something. If we survive long enough to make it so. That's the opportunity. Not to serve somebody else's dark lord, but to help decide what ours might become. Can you win over a village without ruining its value? Build useful alliances while your rivals search for leverage? Turn forbidden knowledge, industry, negotiation and necromancy into the beginnings of lasting power? And, when you disagree with your fellow conspirators, can you make a better argument than simply drawing a blade? Three players are already in the campaign: a necromancy wizard and an occult scholar with a gift for investigation and negotiation have just encountered a lone Thri-kreen in a local abandoned mine. There is room for an enforcer, an organizer, a priest with very inconvenient beliefs, an infiltrator, a commander—or another kind of villain with a purpose worth pursuing. We use the 2024 D&D rules on Roll20, supported by an extensive D&D compendium, our Discord community and additional Immersion Patreon material. This is a character-driven, long-term evil campaign, not permission to derail the table through random cruelty. Come to the listing with one answer: what kind of power would your character help us build, and what would they expect in return?
