Noob question...players on a moving raft

Hey Gang; Noob question. I have players on rafts in a river. The rafts are slowly moving with the current. The question is; how to do the rafts in Roll20? Do I just make an 'icon' in the shape of a raft and create new 'characters' named 'Raft 1', Raft 2' etc.? I don't need them to move automatically, but I do want to be able to move the rafts independently of the map. Player tokens will be moved manually as they are not in fixed positions on their rafts and can move around them at will, or jump in the river if they choose.  I'd appreciate any clews. 

You don't need to create a character sheet for the raft - all you need is to place an image on the map and size it as required. The downside of this are that your players won't be able to move the image, and you may need to resize the image every time that you place it on the map. If you place the raft image on the token layer and set it to "Send to Back", the player tokens will be visible above/on the raft image. If you create an NPC character sheet for the raft, you can then size the image as needed before setting it as the default token for that character sheet; that way it will always be the right size  whenever you drag it from the journal to the map. Using a character will also allow you the option to give the players edit permission for that sheet so the players can than move it themselves, and to use the character sheet's Bio page to store information about the raft. (Even if the players have edit permission, you can still hide information in the "GM Only" section).
