Dynamic lighting with height and multidirectional effect.

Would it be possible to make a dynamic lighting layer where you could specify the height of the lighting object you've painted in, which would compare to the distance and height field of a token to make line of sight more realistic? The second idea is making a DL object that only obscures on the FAR SIDE of the object, enabling the token art to remain visible to the player, but still obstruct view. Fore example, you draw the DL box around a car and the player can see the car, but nothing on the far side of it. When the token is moved to the far side, the effect reverses, showing the car but obscuring the other direction.
YES. We need this so badly. I have multiple heights of terrain, and I want sight to be obstructed from the ground but then when they get up to the higher spot, they are blocked from seeing back down. Need to have a 2-way mirror type situation. Or something to account for the 3rd dimension in maps.
