While murder-hobo-ing your way through Faerun, you come upon a flyer set up in a public place proclaiming fame and fortune for fighters, rogues, priests, and magic-users willing to come to the aid of the ancient city of Phlan. Fallen only fifty years before, a group of descendants, pilgrims, and opportunistic traders and adventurers have set up a small beachhead in the docks of the city. Now the word has been sent out for others to join them in the fight. But the way forward is not clear, or easy. So while the rewards may be great, you can be sure that they'll have been well earned by the end! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So i got this really cool old module for my birthday, and this will be my first shot at trying it out. It definitely won't be super well put together at this point, and i'll probably just end up making a lot of it up on the spot! Which is actually why this is old dnd, rather than 5e which would get more responses. Because it's so much easier to improvise when you don't have to carry several 300-page tomes of restrictions on your back the whole way. If after all that, you're interested the character creation process is simple! Step 1: <a href="http://www.barnadesigns.com/BCG/Index.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.barnadesigns.com/BCG/Index.html</a> (Level 1, 3d6 or 4d6 for stats, the rest is up to you.) Step 2 (for spellcasters): <a href="http://pandaria.rpgworlds.info/cant/rules/adnd_spells.htm" rel="nofollow">http://pandaria.rpgworlds.info/cant/rules/adnd_spells.htm</a> (yes it's from a slightly different version, but there are more choices.) Step 3: Gear and equipment can either be taken from the character-generator, or through a simple process we can handle in-game. Aside from that, just make sure you have a microphone of some kind we can use to hear each other (text-only games are like the d20th circle of hell to me), and let me know!
