Is there a way to link a token to a journal handout?

I'm setting up a "launch pad" intro page in our Roll20 game. Is there a way I can make the Game Journal token and Map token things the players can interact with, either linking them to a journal handout or as web hyperlinks? Right now it looks like this:

Sheet Author
API Scripter
Not really. However, if the token image is the journal image, you can select the token and hit Shift+Z to make it zoom in for all your players.
Hah! So the setup I've created there is functionally useless. Thanks Brian.
I know my friend familiar with the API code has set up a Spellbook using a Character entry in the Journal (or something like that), so I assumed there had to be a similar work around. It just seems like such an intuitive thing to have in the game (player clicks on token, map appears), I just assumed it was possible.
Quick question: Does the SHIFT + Z trick work for a player interacting with the token? I've uploaded a map on a scroll into my art library, then placed it as a token on the "launch pad" starting page the players enter at. Since we're NOT playing live most of the time, will they be able to zoom in on the map using SHIFT + Z? Or is it a DM-only feature?

That's a useful part of the wiki I hadn't found yet! Definitely will be referring to that this weekend.

There is no problem using a Character Journal as your player-accessible Game Journal or Spellbook, which can be accessed by clicking those tokens. You do not need the API or subscription for this. Wiki Documentation for this, followed by step by step How-To in my own words, <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal#Default_Token" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal#Default_Token</a> Aaron , Create a Character called "Game Journal". Set the Viewing & Editing permissions to "All Players" (if you want Players to Edit/Write in the Game Journal). Give them only viewable permission if you don't want them to type/edit the journal. Click the Token "Game Journal" on your game table. Open the Game Journal Character Sheet. Click "Set Default Token". DONE! Now Players can SHIFT-DOUBLECLICK the Game Journal icon-token on your tabletop, and it will open the Game Journal ("character") for them. In the Journal ("character") you can put 1 picture, and unlimited text including Hyperlinks to additional external images. &nbsp;Put everything on the BIO tab (Edit and Save), do not put anything on the Character Sheet tab or the Abilities & Attributes tab, for this method. The other method is great too, as described already: GM can press Shift-Z to pop up the token image in full size to show all Players. Individual Players who have permissions for that Token, can press just "Z" to pop up the image full size for themselves. @ Brian , the token image does NOT need to be a Journal image for "Z" to work. This works on any Token. It can be just a picture without a journal.
I put links in the character bio section to handouts by just bracketing them [Journal of John Q Public] or [Spellbook of Waldo the Wise] or [Group Journal]. You can make indexes in handouts to other handouts as well. You can also link external pages by just pasting the link into a handout. You can restrict viewing and/or editing for these or make them for "all players".

Just a note, I am totally stealing this for my intro page. I just tested Gold's suggestion and it worked like a charm. And al e.'s - that works amazing. I've needed something like that thank you!
