Token Opacity

I would like to see the token (and or drawing) opacity level be able to be modified.  Some uses: 1.  When a creature token "dies" and can be stepped on by other tokens, it would be great if the "dead" token became say 50% transparent, so that it'd be easier to see the token on top of it.  (How good would it be if this were triggered automatically when it dropped to 0, or when the "big red X" status indicator were enabled?) 2. It would be nice to be able to draw a shape (or import an image) and overlay that on the map and/or tokens in a semi-transparent way.  For example, I might want to indicate that there is rain (snow/flames/etc) falling on part of the map, without obscuring the map itself.  Or indicate a spell area of effect not just as a hard outline with a transparent interior, but with a low-opacity coloured shape.  It's possible to do this currently, but only by uploading PNG images which have been carefully created with a specific (fixed) level of opacity, and you can't simply change the colour in Roll20. 3. Token opacity levels could interact with Dynamic Lighting too.  What if low-opacity tokens simply can't be seen at all in dim light, but suddenly appear as bright light passes over them?  (Or similar.)  Imagine incorporeal undead being revealed this way, or any other creature that can hide in dim light. What do you think?
