Possible to bring up previous roll as a new one in template?

trying to figure out how to make something work. Playing a homebrew system where attack and damage don't really have separate rolls. it's a success/failure based system with exploding 6s. damage is [weapon base damage] + amount of successes you rolled that exceeds your enemy's defensive successes. is there a way I could have it show up something like this in the default roll template? Attack: [whatever you rolled] Damage: [weapon damage] + [whatever you rolled] - [DR]
Not without using the API.
The only way to do that with out the API (Pro feature) is to use a query on a separate line and just ask what was rolled previously.
