Once there was a clan, Barbaric in nature, Came ‘cross a lost child, of a Gnomish nomenclature. They raised her and taught her in health or when sicker, The mighty Miniature Giant known as Mudkicker! Araora was an accidental survivor of an orc attack on a peaceful traveling band of Gnomes. When a clan of Barbarians came across the scene and found a howling child who bit everyone who tried to touch her, they decided she was a kindred spirit and adopted her into the clan. Deemed too small for normal Barbarian training, Araora spent most of her time with the clan's Keeper of Words. It was there that Araora found her first love - storytelling. There was one Hero in particular that stood out to her - a champion of the javelin, using their wits and quick feet to outmatch their foes. Inspired, Araora sought out training wherever and whenever she could, often challenging others far above her abilities. Predictably, this led to many defeats, earning her the nickname “Mudkicker” due to her fiery attitude after losing a bout - it wasn't anger at her opponent, some truly are their own worst critics. In time, Mudkicker’s skills grew, and as she reached the cusp of adulthood, the clan elders and mystics sent her on a trial of greatness - success was the only option, and she was not allowed back until her task was complete. She has not completed her task yet, and it has been 40 years. Her travels have left her wandering all across the lands looking for clues or greater insight. Most say it is a fool’s quest, especially after so long. But Mudkicker won't stop looking, and has all the time in the world. To help facilitate their search, Mudkicker joined Faun's Heart … some time ago. She claims to not remember, and asking other long time performers ends with varying replies of “A long time.” Some progress has been made, and MK has been remarkably excited about a certain upcoming location. In her off time, Mudkicker is usually in the company of several animals, including her trusty canine, Sackbutt. She credits the time spent with animals as the reason why she’s calm, rarely flying into a rage (most unbecoming of a Barbarian!) and hardly ever raising her voice, unless it’s to ask a question. Mudkicker dogs others around her for stories, greedily listening to each one. Those who tell their tales may soon hear a new story woven from familiar fabric.
