Cone Measuring tool

I think, in addition to the measuring tools already built into roll20, an option to also expand and measure in the different ways games have cones would be great. That might be difficult to understand so an example would be in D&D, when a cone says it is a 60 foot cone, that means it is not only 60 feet long, but it is also 60 feet wide at the furthest end from the caster. Having a tool to easily measure not only the distance from end to end, but the width as well, would be very helpful in finding the best placement as well as for accurately determining which enemies get hit or not.

A measuring tool for that would be great Jake! Note there is another similar suggestion that you might consider adding or moving your vote and comments to this, https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2575961/area-of-... In the meantime, try searching the Roll20 Marketplace for 'spell effects' (link below), as there are many art-sets for sale with common spell shapes (circle, cube, cone) that you can drag onto the Roll20 tabletop and drag-it-out from the casting position to the appropriate range. Marketplace Spell Effects, https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/search/?keyw... There is a technique where you can save one of those Cone graphics as a "Character" and make the Cone as the character's Default Token. Then you can drag-and-drop "60' Cone" onto the tabletop. If you give your wizard permission to Control that Cone Character then even the player can drag-and-drop their own cone onto the tabletop during the game. Also, the free Roll20 built-in drawing tools can be used, to make a rectangle, square, oval, circle, of any color and can be dragged to any size. The 60' cone you described sounds like basically a triangle. Wiki Docs for this, https://wiki.roll20.net/Drawing_Tools
