I had some friends who never liked the idea of D&D, Pathfinder, M&M, etc. Since they are so "Math Heavy" and have "Too Many Rules". So I put together a game using a "Degrease of Success" over counting number on dice and modifiers, and give the game specific qualities resulting in 4 of those friends having an utter blast. I asked what kind of characters they used and made EXACT functioning versions of them like a Firebreathing barbarian and a "Magickartist" (as he called himself) that had several types of magic that each worked in a differant way. Later I intorduced them to Character Creation and they started making their own getting the feel for it. In the end they all now play and love Pathfinder, M&M 2e and M&M 3e. If people have friends who are up for the idea of "Collective storytelling" or "Roleplaying with governing rules" but just don't like how Math Heavy D&D, Pathfinder, etc. are, send me a PM and perhaps I can put together something that can get them step by step from the experiance of gaming, creating characters, etc. to rolling with your prefered systems. I specialise in GMing Super Martial Arts Campaigns (Dragon Ball, Street Fighter, etc) and Decrepic Gothic Fantasy Campaigns (Mostly involving rolling Vampires) but can build something players are more comfortable in.
