Building / ruins on their sides

I have been trying to find maps of building interiors that look like the buildings have fallen down, and you are actually walking on the walls, with the former floor on one side and ceiling on the other. i can't seem to find anything like this. Specifically stone or modern or some non wood material. (For those familiar with the pathfinder world of Golarion, I'm taking my players through a ruined fallen city of the Shory, because these used to be flying cities, most buildings would not have survived the crash standing up ) failing that, any ideas on how to build a map like this? I guess many trapdoors or just holes in the floors, and the doorways players walk through would be more like holes in the wall. But how would I represent that? Or hour to show a hole in the ceiling?

Here are some excellent Marketplace art packs that could help with this subject matter, https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/508/vile... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/490/vile... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/548/vile... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/547/vile... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/546/vile... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/887/save... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/787/vile... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/788/vile... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/822/terr... In some cases you could start with an existing floorplan / dungeon / cave / or building map, and use some of the above art details to add fallen walls, rubble, fallen pillars, environmental destruction and damage decals.

How soon are you planning on using these maps? I had a set planned for a tower in various states of destruction, including fallen onto its side, but it might be awhile before I get to it.

maybe about a month? I am almost done with From Shore To Sea (I am using your "biological" map for some underground portion of that adventure), and going to take them through Crucible of Chaos, which is the adventure with the fallen Shory city (except redo the maps). I just reread it, interestingly, some towers are all glass, some are all metal, etc, so I suppose I could look at modern maps too. I could maybe have them go through one side adventure first ... which I wrote and never used. Actually have you ever thought of expanding those Quick Encounters: Biological maps? A Vile Tiles with more would allow us to make larger, horrifying geiger-type dungeons. :)

There are a lot of good options here and if you are interesting I have a few of my own sets that I would like to recommend as well as a few other artist sets. https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/1054/cit... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/1073/ome... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/1021/des... And a few other options would be from Gabriel Pickard https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/359/quic... https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/508/vile-tiles-stone-walls And personally I love this set cause you can turn almost anything into a broken run down city/place: https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/787/vile... Andy Gerding Has some good stuff https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/298/cast... I hope that points you in a better direction and gives you something to work with. Good luck finding stuff for your game it sounds like it would be really fun campaign.

thanks those look good. actually even the corporate Facilities might be useful , I don't want to make it too futuristic (then it would be the "mountain" in Numeria) but some of this could be interesting https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/343/quic...
