I do like the idea of being able to customize what bubble represents each stat based upon a users needs though.

As a heads up, we're pushing forward a couple of updates today regarding some of the issues you all have brought up. We're still in the process of kicking the tires out of them. So if something looks off or weird in the next couple hours, it's because we're doing some tweaking.
great work so far guys. I like the hp and ac pre populated in Bar1 and Bar2 (perhaps Bar3 will have passive perception?), as well as the compendium having the source AND a picture of the token. This makes it so much easier to find stuff. Looking forward to seeing the final outcome.
I see today the mark to show if a spell is in the SRD or not. That is INVALUABLE to 3rd Party Publishers. I know this is a bug thread, but thank you. Also, if you take that feature out, I will cut you. :)

In my case, that's after buying the physical book too.  Now I have to set up each token manually?   Please explain why the description of this product says that it includes:  "Over 130 statted Tokens"  .  That's false; there are no *statted* tokens.  My god, why would you omit this!? It was the single greatest part of the SKT module on Roll20! After all, I can buy the maps from the artists. What I wanted was statted tokens to save me the time!  Please correct me if I'm wrong: in order to make a usable token, I need to create a blank sheet, drag from the Compendium, assign the proper token to the sheet, set up and show Name and HP on the token, and then do the lighting -- all manually?  130 times? All of which came complete, out of the box, with SKT?  I'm considering asking for a refund.

You can get the token, statted and added to your journal tab as an entry by dragging and dropping direct from the compendium to the VTT: This prevents the game from having to load ALL of the sheets for the various monsters in one go so you can quickly add them as required during play :)

As Ziechael said. The token art page that comes with the beast lair module is there so the GM has access to all the token art made for this book. The tokens are already incorporated within the Compendium, so you just drag them into your game as needed. Update 11/10/16 Compendium Display Changes When you use the Compendium in-app now, we've changed the appearance of how entries appear on the Compendium Tab. Entries that have tokens tied to it (this would be only for Volo's content presently) will have a small thumbnail of their token art. On the far right you will see the book source the entry is from. "SRD" stands for 5th Edition OGL SRD, "VG1" stands for "Volo's Guide to Monsters". Dragging and Dropping Improvements We have enabled dragging and dropping from the Compendium for all Monsters. If the Monster does not have a token assigned to it, the character journal entry will be created per usual. The only difference is that there will be no token assigned to it (since there's no art for one). Anything that isn't a monster in the Compendium now can be dragged to the tabletop to generate a Handout in the Journal tab. This allows GMs the ability to show to their players a specific entry from Volo's Guide to Monsters or SRD. Tokens We've fixed the bars to be consistent with the other WotC modules. Bar 1 is HP, Bar 2 is AC, Bar 3 is left blank. Tokens now have their Nameplates enabled, as well as Has Sight. What We're Still Addressing Currently the thumbnail and source information doesn't appear when you do a word search ("Guard" for instance to pull up any of the chromatic Guard Drakes). Right now the display only works when you're paging through the categories directly. Drag and Drop Issues: We noticed today that if you're dragging an entry into a character sheet to populate a field (say Fireball to add the spell to your spellcaster) it will populate, BUT also create a Journal Handout for the entry too. Which isn't expected behavior. We're working on the sight range for monsters to use the number listed on their darkvision/truesight/blindsight attributes.

This is amazing! Any chance of posting this in a general forum area so more people can see the changes to the SRD compendium? Being able to create handouts by just dragging them to the tabletop is a really big deal.

I'm having a similar problem; when I drag and drop out of the compendium it creates the journal sheet, and also drops the token straight into the VTT, but it's now missing some of the stats. No AC or health, but it does have the nameplate shown and has sight enabled. In addition, large creatures are scaled to size when dragging and dropping out of the compendium, but reset to 1x1 when dragged from the journal created by the compendium.&nbsp; The thumbnail and source information appears just fine when I do a word search.&nbsp; I'm really happy with the changes to make the tokens more consistent (or I will be when they are fixed), and changing them to auto-whisper would fix the last task I still need to do manually for all of the tokens I use.&nbsp; Any chance we're going to see similar functionality for the monster manual available for purchase?

Eugene & Mend - Are you using the Roll20 5e OGL sheet or are you using another sheet such as the shaped sheet or the community created sheet? &nbsp;Based on the updates by Roll20 Dev, seems that custom character sheets will need updated to take advantage of this functionality.

I'm using the OGL sheet. The drag and drop statted the tokens with health and armor prior to the update for me.&nbsp;
The bars work for me now. Sight is more hit and miss. The light range, for instance, isn't showing up on the few I've tested that have darkvision or blindsight.
Great work on what you've done, BTW.
Archer doesn't have hp/ac token bits set up for me, but the Barghest did

When working correctly, when you drag a Compendium monster from the Compendium tab to the Tabletop it *should* create an instance of the token. I've found that the character entry is created first and after a pause, the token is generated on the tabletop. I would double check with the usual things first to make certain your cache is clean and you don't have any extensions interfering with the process. If not, a console log might be in order. Can you tell me which creatures aren't showing the correct darkvision/blindsight range? Our automation process takes the highest sight attribute range. So if a creature has a blindsight of 30' and a darkvision of 60', the token will take the 60' sight range. Regarding issues with the token bars: We're aware that some of the monsters are transferring over with either one or both bar values missing. We'll be trying to figure out why next week.

I just purchased Volo's Guide. &nbsp;However, I cannot drag and drop Trapper into my game. &nbsp;It appears in the compendium list and it pops up, but when I drag and drop, it doesn't appear on my map nor in my own library like the rest do.

I loaded my maps into my campaign, but the players can't see anything. &nbsp;Dynamic Lighting isn't working. I assigned light to a token but still they only see a black screen. Global Illumination was checked. &nbsp;I unchecked it. Same results. Only by unselecting Dynamic Lighting can they see the maps.
I am unable to find the maps. I might just be "doing it wrong", but Volo isn't available to me under Transmogrify or the Compendium.&nbsp; No maps.

Check to see that there is a Token with "Has Sight" checkmarked, which is Controlled By... one of the players, or which represents a Character that is Controlled By... one of the players. &nbsp;So again, doublecheck your "Has Sight" and "Controlled By" settings. I noticed that the Shoosuva and Stench Kow entries had some data entry issues. Shoosuva had its AC missing while Stench Kow was sizing its token to Huge instead of Large. I've gone in and corrected these. Going forward, at any point you drag and drop a Compendium entry and the token's bars are missing, or a token isn't displaying, or something you didn't expect occurs -&nbsp; don't delete the character handout and try to capture a console log for when you dragged the entry into your game. Let us know you've encountered this issue in this thread and the name of the game in which you tried to create the character. That way we can look at the bugging entry directly.

Thank you, Franky. When I looked at my copy of your campaign, I noticed there is no character sheet applied to it. That is why your bars aren't auto filling. The automation that happens after a drag and drop matches up attributes with fields on a character sheet designed to couch those specific Compendium attributes. Without a sheet, it's just going to copy over the monster as a character journal and link the token art to it.

I get a fully statted NPC sheet with the token attached to it, except the bars aren't filled out or set to represent anything by default. That's the expected behavior?

As someone else previously reported in this thread, I too can't choose to purchase Volo's Guide via Paypal. Is this intentional or an oversight? The only difference I can see to other products that allow Paypal is that Volo is being offered as a bundle of the compendium entries and the module.

The more spells filled out on an NPC sheet, the worse the resource hog for a character journal becomes. To minimize that, we took the likely commonly-used offensive spells of a creature and created actions for them.

As a follow up, the issue of my token bars not populating correctly is ONLY happening in campaigns created using the SKT module.

Regarding the inability to purchase the product for yourself: We discovered that if you've bought the Volo's bundle and then had it refunded afterwards, it would still lock you out of being able to purchase it again for yourself later on. We'll be able to get this fixed next week (after the holiday).
