[Script Request] Scheduled Light Pattern

Is there a script out there that would allow for a set pattern of lights to turn off and on? The idea being to allow for a directional indicator through tiny balls of lights?  Ideally, the script would allow the lights to turn on in a specific pattern AND have the lights pulse (i.e., growing wider circumference / less dim light and then shrinking to off). Thanks for your help.

I didn't have a trigger in mind, just a set repeating pattern (light_a followed by light_b and so on). But something that occurs as an opposite to the darkness is closing in script would be great. In other words, the closer a token got to the light source the brighter it is or it begins to pulse after reaching a certain range.
