We have a sandbox, you have a mission, and so you explore the sandbox looking to either complete or just ignore your mission. That's about it. You come into Blackmarsh from the east, through the Grey Sea looking for a material which appears to be magical energy turned into a solid material. You have general directions to the main settlement of the area. But whether you actually go there is up to you. It's basically the oooooldest school D&amp;D possible. But for some reason it's called "White Box", which is also mostly just "Swords &amp; Wizardry". So that's nice and complicated, but actually incredibly easy to play.
