[LFG] [D&D 5E] [Pathfinder?] Night Owl Gamers?

My name's Jackson, I'm queer as fffffffffruit, and I like to play RPGs. So my time zone is UTC/GMT -6, or central standard time. I also work nights, so I'm adapted to being awake at nights when I have time off. I'm casting a net here to see if I can get some other people who want to play VERY LATE  games on Friday night/Saturday morning. I'm talking a start time of 10 PM (22:00) CST at the earliest. Midnight? Perfect. 2 AM? Lovin' it. I've been playing off and on (most recently, on) for about ten years, both as a player and a DM. I prefer smaller groups - 3 to 5 PCs is just right. I prefer games that go off-book, up to and including fully homebrewed worlds and storylines, but that doesn't mean I won't play a premade adventure. A DM that has an open, negotiable stance on what constitutes a 'player race' is so very appreciated. **I've never played Pathfinder, but I'm very interested in giving it a shot. Doesn't seem too difficult to switch into.

Depending on days of the week I'd be down for a late night gaming session also.

I mean. I did specify Friday nights/Saturday morning.

Hiya, count one more for being interested in what you're looking for here. I'm in pretty much the same boat for my work and sleep schedule - UTC-5, working evenings, not home until after midnight and usually not going to sleep until 3 at the earliest. I enjoy flexibility with adjusting pregen adventures, allowing various stranger races, and outright using homebrew settings, and queer-friendly groups are by far my preference. The biggest concern about late night games is not wanting to wake my roommates, who work mornings. I could probably manage to get some soundproofing in, but I wouldn't want to play anyone like a barbarian with all the battlecries and enthusiasm. Are you looking for a voice game, or are you open to text-only games too?

I am looking for a voice game, but I understand a need to be quiet. If you want to give us a chance, we can certainly brainstorm what we can do to help out.

A start time of 22-02 for you would be 05-09 am over here in Sweden (or anyone else Central European Time). I would love to get in on some early morning DnD. I would be happier to start your 23 than 22, but I'm sure sacrifices could be made if we manage to find a GM. I put a lot more info in my profile, feel free to clicky! :D

Yeah, totally understandable. I wear headphones with voice games, so everyone else could talk at whatever volumes work for them without any issue on my end. I might just opt for a softer spoken character, and speak closer to the microphone, to avoid waking people on my end. And other suggestions for inexpensive soundproofing would be welcome.  And yeah, my current work schedule gets me home after  midnight my time, sometimes closer to my 2am (Jackson's 1, Murgel's 08), so I'd prefer a game starting on the later side too. 

Ooo, This is a perfect set up for my boyfriend and i, late nights on friday are the ideal time for both of us to play and we could both do anytime after 10pm CST, though closer to 2/3am is a lot better. Add two more players interested in the game, and we both have mics so using roll 20 voice or discord preferably would be great for us~

Ky, consider maybe earplugs for your roomies? If they're comfortable with that. So it looks like all we need now is a DM. 

Could I join? I am also looking for a late night group. 10 pm cst is the earliest time I can play on Friday. I am a night owl too and I can definitely start way later than that. 2am is also a good time for me. I am also interested in trying pathfinder.  

Hi! I am also interested in a night owl game to partake it, I think it would be a HOOT! ;D ... I am knowledgeable in 5e and pathfinder, have played and run tabletop rpgs for 20 years, and love me a nice group of people to tell a story together with. I am in the Mountain Time Zone in USA. :)

I'm gonna call a shutdown on this particular board, and send y'all a discord invite. That'll let us get comfortable with one another while we keep up a DM search.
