Suggestion: A marker in GM INFO overlay (or another layer) where if a player character's token steps on it, it moves them to another map location in another tab or on the same (Wherever the marker designates) so that dungeons can be played more seamlessly. This can be used if a hallway goes into another map and the player can continue to move freely in the next room as if it were one large map. Also, can be used for magical way gates, puzzles, etc..
