Hi everyone, looking for one more player for a DnD 5e Ghosts of Saltmarsh. We are 2 sessions in and might want to add in an additional person to fill in the numbers in case a person has to miss the session, and we currently have 4 and it would be nice to have a 5th. No munchkin murder hobos needed, unfortunately, I had to remove a player who was being toxic and argumentative so here is that. New players who want to roleplay fully and enjoy their characters and the other party members and explore the world are welcome. This is a long term campaign which will most likely run for about 4-6 months if not even a bit longer, so definitely want long term players who are dedicated. The game is probably not +18 but there is cussing and Ghosts of Saltmarsh does involve some dark themes as per the genre. Here is the adventure summary for the tone of the adventure, which is very much so gothic horror: Nestled on the coast of the Trackless Sea is Saltmarsh, a sleepy fishing village that sits on the precipice of destruction. Smugglers guide their ships to hidden coves, willing to slit the throat of anyone foolhardy enough to cross their path. Cruel sahuagin gather beneath the waves, plotting to sweep away coastal cities. Drowned sailors stir to unnatural life, animated by dark magic and sent forth in search of revenge. The cult of a forbidden god extends its reach outward from a decaying port, hungry for fresh victims and willing recruits. While Saltmarsh slumbers, the evils that seek to plunder it grow stronger. Heroes must rise to keep the waves safe! Will you fall to the darkening storm or rise to glory? About the Game and the adventure: The adventure takes place in the Forgotten Realms (continent of Maztica), it is a dnd 5e module which is probably one of the best adventures ever written. Session times usually run between 3-4 hours but came sometimes spill into a bit of the 5th hour if it is a better stopping point.
