Hex grids seem to be broken; whilst tokens home to the middle of hexes, drawings that use snap-to-grid functionality seem like they're trying to configure to an invisible square grid underneath. Anyone else had that issue?
That is how I has always worked. I agree it's not desirable behavior, but it isn't broken. Probably there should be a suggestion to make drawing tools snap to the hex grid.
There are some suggestions out there, but it seems us hex grid users must be a pretty tiny minority from the lack of votes. <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7500115/slug%7D" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7500115/slug%7D</a> <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1410811/slug%7D" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1410811/slug%7D</a>
OMG, this is a revelation. Things were snapping to the wrong places and I thought I just wasn't scaling it right, then gave up and just switched to not snapping. Nice to know.
This is why I build maps in square grid and switch over to hex for play. Works most of the time, but sometimes corridors just don't want to align with hex.
