Temporary ability/attribute modifiers per token?

I'm wondering if it's possible to have temporary ability modifiers per "token", and not per character sheet. I have a couple types of abilities and monsters in my game that can give bonuses to specific attributes or skill rolls. But I cannot add a field for this modifier on the Character sheet, because that would apply the bonus to ALL instances of that monster in the game, when I would like that bonus only to apply to one. Currently I'm creating duplicate character sheets for every instance of such characters, which feels cumbersome. It would be nice if there was a way to add temporary mods to the token in this instance, and have the character sheet macros be able to reference such values from the token.

Tokens don't have many attributes, but if you could free up one of the bars, you might be able to use that. GM Notes might work for you depending on exactly what you are trying to do. Whatever you attempt, it will probably require a lot of custom macro work to have it do anything programatically. If all you need is a reminder, and the modifier is usually less than 10, you can probably get away by putting a number on a status marker .
Oh yes the token status marker is a good Idea. I didn't know you can do that. It will work in the short run, but eventually I'll need larger than 10 numbers, but I can work around that when the time comes. Unfortunately I cannot use one of the 3 bars, because I'm already using them for some key values in my system. Anyway, thanks, the numbers on status markers will work for now ;)

Some folks use two in a row to give a two digit number. Token mod can automate this.
