Map layer objects level breaking when toggling player/DM view

Hello, I am creating a simple free-hand drawn regional map for my players. just blue lines for water, brown free-hand drawn polygons and things like that. I've done freehand lines around the edges of the mountains on the inside to make contour lines. I've also labelled things with text. These objects are at many different levels using 'to front' and 'to back'. Everything is fine, but when I re-join the campaign as a player, some of these objects are at the wrong level. One polygon may cover up some labelled text, for example, and the contour lines for the mountains are gone unless I send the outermost/enclosing polygon (which is colored) to the back. When I go back to the campaign as DM, the objects are messed up in the exact same way. I fix them, jump to the page as a player, and they are at the exact same level as before I fixed them. This is all within the maps & background layer. I believe the player view is showing me an early version of the map when I'd messed up the exact levels different objects should have been at to look correct, but I'm not sure. Do you have the same issue with images shuffling their order or just things made with the drawing tool?

I've not experienced the issue with images changing their order. Most of my pages with images use wilderness tiles (trees, grass) that might make any subtle shifts hard to notice. The one page I do have with images that aren't wilderness didn't exhibit this behavior. I tried it on another machine and it happened there too. Whatever it is, it's repeatable which is good. IN CASE it has any bearing, one of my pages (the one I mentioned above with images that I experimented with) doesn't show up correctly in the page selection banner. It's just a generic icon. If it's a separate issue, I'll start a separate thread, it's nothing serious.

Never mind. I tried just drawing something on the canvas and suddenly everything displayed correctly !! Just popped into place.

It continues to happen. Every time I switch, the sequence of levels is off, I grab the drawing tool and draw something and they snap into place. Then just delete the swish I made, it's a fine work-around.

Interesting bug. When you load the specific page (called Worldmap) the first time it loads properly. When you switch views (to Player view or to GM view) or hit F5 (refresh) the map fails to load properly. Drawing anything will get it to show up properly. I will let the Devs know.

Resolution: Dan has copied the campaign and the copy does not have the bug. Problem resolved.
